Remarks

The Very good thing above our college is the administration department and the clerks of the office window is very good. The fee structure is very good and feasible. This college is for all. Very good exposure to extra curricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is very upto the mark ,as all we know DU is very reputed for ENGLISH HONS. the repuatibility and it's true part can be seen in the structure and design of the syllabus. We have around 16 papers in whole 3 year in which we are aware of many countries literature and their work in literature. This course is pretty easy if you are interested in reading.Exam structure is very lenient we have 1 assignment and 1 internal exam in each semester.

Placement Experience

1

As we all know in arts stream we don't much depends on placement here in Motilal Nehru college. There is a placement cell ,but as a student I know here there is no placement at all.Apart from that the biggest relief is that we have so much time to prepare for competitive exams.

College Events

4

There is very few events celebrated in our college like annual fest etc.etc because I don't see anything else apart from annual fest. But in order college we have about 6/7 society like Dancing , Singing, debating, photography etc. The best part of our college is the society because you really explore yourself here and is totally depends on students no funding from college but pretty good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very very feasible. As we all know it is a government college the fee structure is really very feasible. It cost me around 20k to complete my graduation and semester exam fee in included.yes.so if you belong to middle class or below poverty line or whatever this college is open for all. This college to provide free remeption and scholarship to students.pretty good.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a government college so we don't need to much think about the fee structure and here the fee structure is very feasible. There are scholarship like fee exemption for needy students whose family income is below the specified level. College is pretty good in terms of budget.

Campus Life

3

The sports facility is good we have basket ball court and one football ground and descent sports item available in sports room.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Three is no hostel facility at all,but in near future we may have this facility. Most of the students reside nearby areas like Vasant gaon and Satya (the crowded one for South campus students). If you are interested in admission here then be ready to live in pg ,hostels and rented apartment. The per month cost of hostel or pg around our college is 7/8k varies according to room size ,no of people.etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students of this collection is good we have many class 1 officer from this college and there is around 2/3 college professors who are also the student of this college. alumni network is not very large but a descent alumni network.

Admission

I'm in Delhi University.I got a seat in this college by merit i.e.my marks in class 12. After the announcement of my class 12 board results I filled a form of du and select my choices for the same. The forms for the same usually out on or before the announcement of board results.when my class 12% matches with the cutoff of the Motilal Nehru college and it is also a good college.I went there next day and take admission very easy and hassle free.

Faculty

3

The faculty of Motilal Nehru college in my course i.e.ENGLISH HONS. is pretty average. Teachers are highly irregular and not upto the standard of teaching English major.some are good but the ratio is not that good

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
