Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quiet good . There are theory subject and in addition with the theory subjects we also have practicals which enhances our level of knowledge in both theoretical and practical world. Faculties link the things with real world problems which make us know the application of the concepts .
Internships Opportunities
Our college also offer intership opportunities to most of the students.Bot only the tech student's also the core student get internship in their field.For core filed mostly companies are HPCL, INDIAN OIL, L&T ETC.
Placement Experience
Placements are quiet good at our college .Most of the students are placed here. Last year the placement percentage was 100 percent in the computer science branch and core branches also so agood placement percentage with a placement percentage of 80 percent in civil engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee per semester is 60633. But there is a criteria of tuition fee waiver for different income catogries. 1. Parental income >500000 (you have to pay full tuition fee) 2.Parental income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh(you will get two-thirds fee remission.
Campus Life
All students in the campus are very enthusiastic.There at numerous clubs like dance club ,music club,e cell,robotics club , literature club etc.These club offer students to join them which adds up a lot to the personality and career development of the students here.
Hostel Facilities
For the first year student there are two hostels for boys Aryabhatta and BH3 . ALL THE ROOMS IN ARYABHATTA ARE DOUBLE SHARING AND IN BH3 ALL ROOMS ARE EITHER TRIPLE SHARING OR SINGLE SHARING.HOSTEL ROOMS ARE QUIET SPACIOUS AND XLEAN WITH WARDROBE IN THEM.
Admission
There were some aspects that I considered before choosing this college. 1.)The natural beauty of the college attracted me a lot The lakes in the campus gives a vibrant feel in the campus. 2.)Secondly the branch change option is available here in nit Silchar.
Faculty
The faculties are very well qualified and are the best of their fields. Their teaching methodologies are so good that you will get every thing point to point.Exam patterns are similar to the other institutions.After 1.5 months of the semester begins we have our mid semester exams.Then we have minor tests and then we have end sem examinations.
Night Life
Night life is not very good in campus.We don't have any night canteens in the campus . Library is also open only during the daytime.At night library is also closed .Mostly hostels also do not allow students to go outside at night.
