INSIDE NIT SILCHAR

Our course curriculum is very old type.and it is very less usefull to us and it needed to be improved because some subject which is very less and not important to us and they are studying us. So it needed to bee improved.it has very less real world applications because they are old.the frequency of exam are frequently and this is very hectic and some subject difficultly is high and some has moderate difficulty.

The cons of these colleges is very less internship offer for students.and generally cse student most of interened in campus internship.there arem any companies like Microsoft, Google come for internship but they take very few students.outside college internship it is possible because of the tag nit and outside campuse we can intern because of its name so it can happen.and companies generally not take the students of the lower branch in internship so it is cons of our college.so some students have to find internship by themselves.

The placement of our college is fantastic.and it is much better than the northeast nits.from 7 semester generally Students are eligible for placement.there are many big companies visit to our college and they offered packages to students like Google ,Microsoft, oracle, intas and like Microsoft approximately offered 3,4 people for job.the highest package of nit silchar is 52.89 lpa and average package is 13.34 lpa.percentage of the students placed in this year is approx 75%.if some students not offered campus placement then they have also many opportunities for job outside the college because of college like it is nit and it's degree is very important.my plans after getting the degree is doing job for some times and then do business.

The year wise fees structure of our college is like include all the fees related to academic is 100500.the fees distributed among.tution fees of college for income more than 5 lakh rupees is 62,500 rupees and for sc,st it is 0.admission fees for all category is 1000 rupees.development fee for all category is same and it's 3000 rupees.lab fees are not specified.and normally all the fees of all the category is same. Like library fess,it system fees,examination fee, medical fee,Gymkhana or sport fees are same for all category.for sc/st/PWD category fees are 38000, annual family income less than one lakh have fees 38000 rupees, annual family income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh have fees 58,833 and whose family income greater than 5 lakh have fees 100500 rupees.there are many scholarship give by college like Airtel scholarship,nsp scholarship etc.our college have many scholarship ship for annual income basis and it s generally for annual income whos less than 5 lakh.and our nit silchar college has less academic fees to other nits

The campus life in the college is very nice because there is many things to do in college.like we can play several sports what we want.and there also gym in our campuse so it is also usefull.our campus is full of greenary so we can enjoy greenery and rumour inside our campus the facilities and technological provision of our class is very low technical and old.we have Asia's largest digital library so we have large availablity of books so we can read it.and in college there many clubs of different field so we can join any club of our interest.

The hostel facility I will call average.because in our hostel there is no facilities for warm water like Geiger.and poor management of hostel.the facilities provide in room is one chair, one table ,one single steel bed, one big and one small cupboard , .meal quality and it's test very low.and menu is very bad of our college.registration prosess for hostel is through paying it's fees by bhm payment.there is very less pg or rented room outside our campuse because it is little bit far from city that why there very less availability of rooms.and

I choosed this college over other college is its placement, campus life.this is the best college at my rank which offered me cse and have best placement.this college cse branch I got and it's placements are fantastic and it's more than other colleges which closes above this college.some colleges I applied for that like top most nits and I got some lower branch in them but I want cse so that's why I choose it.admission from these colleges is through jee main examination.for my b tech course you have to give exam of jee main and clear the criteria of jee main.cutoff for my college is approx 94+ percentile in jee main for general Student.

The faculty to student relation ship is good.and faculty is quite good.we can approach faculty by our cr or some faculty give direct contact of them and they tell that any time you have some doubts then you can also contact with me.i like most of the faculty of our college because they are very helpful like our chemistry teacher dr Shanti gopal sir is very helpful and they are among best facilities.some mechanical engineering faculty which I don't like because of them behaviour..there are mostly three exam in our class minor ,mid sem and end sem.and our college have pointer for specific marks.like our midesem of 30 marks and our end sem is of 50 marks 10 marks of minor and other 10 marks of our class performances.

There is gym in our college campus so anyone want to gym that can do gym in there are all equipment are very old and it needed to be new equipment.and in campus there is many public area and inside campus also there is cafe and canteen.the opening time of canteen is 10 am and closing time of cafe is generally 10 pm.there are 9 hostel in campus but most of the hostels are very old so they needed to be renovated .and as long I know there is no campus timing for 3,4 year Students.and for 1st year student timing is 7 pm.hangout spaces in campus is Indy lake ,tea garden in our campus.
