The Campus Life is Nice

The curriculum is fine, but the method of teaching is not that good, since some subjects require more hands on practicals than just the theory part, the curriculum is fine also considering the mini project that we have to submit in every semester from 3rd sem onwards, the teachers help you in reviewing you project and provide you constructive feedback

The year-wise fees is 150000,additionl 14000 rupees as bus fees is also submitted to the college every semester. The tution fees is divided into two sub types, one for all over india students and another one for students who belong to uttarakhand and other northern areas.25% less is the Tuition fees for students who belong to uttarkhand and have the domicile. Additional scholarships include the merit based scholarship which includes the percentage achieved by the student in 12th class, additional 10% for girl child,5% for defence personnel wards and also if you have your siblings studying or have studied in the same college.

Yes, the college does host annual fests like the Grafest, where famous celebrities and singers and also DJ are invited. It is generally a 2-3 days fest. In 2023 , Neha Kakkar was invited and in 2024 Mohit chauhan was invited. the library has access to all kinds of course books (has very limited amount of novels). Each class has access to Projectors and the college also has 3-4 big Seminar halls. There are various student run clubs in the college like the Eco Club, Yoga Club,Music Club, Dance Club, etc The college also has NCC and NSS.

I did not apply to any other college since I am from uttarakhand and this college is not very far from my place, also the loaction of this college is very beautiful. The admission procedure is simple, the college hosts various career guidance seminars in various places like almora, pittoragarh , bageshwar, dehradun and many other places follwed by lunch and on the spot admission, also the college has various admission centres set up in different states of the country, one more way of securing the spot is (which i used ) is campus visit and then submit all the essential documents and fees at the admission cell and you are given a goodies bag as well which includes bottles, cap, pen,etc.

The faculty-to-student ratio is very less ,it is like 1:90 students. Some faculties are very nice ,they are helping and supporting as well.some are not that good, they try to demean you and keep pointing you out in front of the whole class. the exam pattern is that in each semesters 2 exams are held mid sem and end sem , mid sem is of 50 marks which is then converted into 25 marks and end sem is of 100 marks that is converted into 50 marks and another 25 marks are sessional given by the faculties. sometimes the exam is of easy to medium level but sometimes it is of above medium level.

Yes, the college does have Gym , cafeterias, library and a salon too, there are various hostels in the college,one has to take outpass and need their parents permission for the wardens to allow the students for an outing, after the dinner the students and can roam around the college till 8pm since the college is in hilly areas and there is threat of leopards and tigers. The famous hangout places near the college are Nainital, Bhimtal, Sattal, Nakuchiyatal, Neem Karoli Baba Mandir and various other places
