The curriculum is updated according to the industry need every year The peer group is itself very motivating and supporting The curriculum prepares you well for the industries and placement drives overall a thumbs up for that.

The companies mainly visit for full time offers in the final year stated by our seniors The coding culture is still improving year to year Seniors are always ready to help in projects and academic help

Placement Experience

The placements in our college our average . Many mass recruiting companies visit the campus and even for internships. The average package lies between 4 lakh per annum to 6 lakh per annum changes year to year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees paid was 200000 per year, i did not got any schlorships . The course i opted was of four years duration The students who got good marks in their board examinations got schlorships according to their marks

Campus Life

Grafest happens every year in which famous artists are invited to the campus The library is little small compared to other campuses The sports culture is still improving There are many clubs which helps in overall development of students

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities provided at a very cheap cost compared to rented accommodation The meal quality is average like any other mess in the world The menu for each day is fixed and changes every semester. Registration process is quite smooth.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

Admission process was smooth.You can find the application on its official site or can visit the campus.Overall it was a smooth experience. I did not applied to any other colleges as it was out native place.

Faculty

The faculty ti student ratio is some what near to 1 isto 100 The faculties for computer science department are quite good The exams happen in 2 parts mid semester examination and end semester examination

Night Life

There is a Gym present inside the campus for students and faculty Canteen and coffee places are provided inside the campus One is not allowed to go outside the hostel after 8 pm As this is a tourist place one can have a beautiful college life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. There is 1500 registration fee to get your seats confirmed for the selected course. Well there is no specific criteria for cut-off....Read More

My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course.
