College management needs to work for creating more placements in every branch.

Course curriculum & exam structure have been updated recently so I'll say they are definitely relevant. Special emphasis is thrown on research in this institution. Professors will inspire you to write research papers and will help you wherever you need them.

There are placements in Textile and Electronics and Communication departments. However, in the case of Civil and Mechanical Engineering Branches, the placements are negligible. Though college provides you Internships in different companies.

There are two college Festivals that are being celebrated in the college. One is Technical fest Decibel and the other one is a Techno-Cultural fest known as Twask. Students take active participation in these fests. Also a DJ Night and Star Night is Organised in the College.

Fee Structure is Nominal as compared to other colleges due to it being under state government. In 2015 it was 30,000 per semester for Boys and around 15,000 per semester for girls. The hostel is not complete yet and is under construction. But you can find PG accommodation for 5000 per month. Or a Room in about 2500-3000 Rupees.

I didn't opted for any scholarship or education loan however college do notify you about different scholarship programs.

Campus life is chilled out. Gender Ratio varies in different Departments. It is less in the mechanical branch. Labs are great and sufficient. Sports Fest is also organized every year. And technical competitions such as robotics are also organised in Technical Fests.

Alumni Network is good. Senior students are always eager to help out their juniors. There is no ragging in college.

I got admitted through my JEE Mains Marks. I scored 115 marks. My 12th board marks were 82.6% so my percentile fell down. That was the reason I wasn't able to get Civil Engineering in NIT Hamirpur. So I decided to participate in the Counselling. You can also appear in HPCET for addmision.

Faculty varies from department to department. The faculty in the Civil Engineering department are highly qualified. You'll get taught by Professors with a Ph.D. in their distinguished fields. However, there is a need to strengthen a few bridges between teachers and students.
