My overall college life.

The specific aspect of the biotechnology curriculum is that this field of study is very related to biology subject which I liked the most from the starting. It prepares me for real world problems in practical way of understanding lab works in research and biotechnology by performing at lab and internships. Improvements in way of teaching should be mild towards more presentation sessions and lab work. The timing of exam is of 3 hr which is completely suitable no changes are required.

From the 6 or 7 semester student become eligible for sitting in placement cell. Many companies from the world come such as tnp, TATA, GOOGLE, rapture biotech etc . The highest package of 10lakh. 40 to 45 percent of students get placement. My plans after getting my degree is to go for high studies in my field of research and scientists.

The year wise fee I paid is of 74 thousand which includes our two semester of one year. The tuition fee is 25000, caution money is 25 thousand, college user charges is 3580, lab fee is 12000 this all comes under in my general category charges. My batchmates who are having TFW category only pay 12980 rupees. No scholarship is provided to students

The annual fest that is GOONJ held every year in month of October, which is of 3 days fest includes technical activities, dance, drama, painting etc. Liberty is big which have almost every author book of every course that is there in college range of 2000 90000 books available. Every classrooms have ppt boards and led boards for presentation technologies. Got sports JOSH fest held in which students participate and win trophies and certificates. Different NGO and association related fundamentals run by many students and clubs which helps us to grow more.

Hostel facility is okay but not that good. As year of accommodation increases facilities increase. In room we have two more roommates, with one almirah, personal fan, study table, window side to one person , chair etc. Meal quality in mess sometimes good sometimes fair. It changes in every month according to students. Registration process for hostel is same timing registration in college occurs . The locality of hostel allotment is inside of campus only and all the hostel of giraffe are there nearby.

I also applied for GB pant engineering college Pantnagar, also HNB college but during my counselling period , i first got call from this college and then I took admission here, also because it is far near from my home . No I didn't get any rejection, I also got admission in pantnagar but due to first round of counselling call I select the first one. Through UTU counselling, GATE exam merit based admission is done. The criteria is 12th pass for biotechnology branch and for others gate to exam is must.

The faculty students ratio is about 8 ratio 5 approximately. The relationship between student and teachers is very good and approachable to students. In any difficulty to students teacher tend to solve their doubt and problems. They also helps students to write there thesis etc. My favourite faculty is of bioinformatics depart name dr. Sumit Rai sir he is very friendly to students in solving and understanding them also his way of teaching is tremendous. There is no such faculty that I don't like everyone are good at there pace. There are total 6 subjects in every semester and exams some are easy theory based and some need practical approaches. Course curriculum is moderate not very hard.

My favourite sport is badminton, every evening 5-6 I go for playing in court. Late activities only held during fest otherwise girls timing for entering in hostel is of 7;00pm after this no one can roam in campus. It helps us from night animals and other bad activities. Gym facilities are also provided with confined timing of boys and girls. Famous hangout places are too hill, frog hill, kutiya where students pass time in fee pace. Overall I experience is good.
