Average package-Rs.9.5lpa Highest package-52lpa Profiles-mostly GET and SDE. More than 85% students get placed. Plans after degree-Get a job in core sector.

If you are a SC/ST applicant,then your entire tuition will be reimbursed.If you belong ro non-reserved category,you will have to pay roughly Rs.70000 per semester(which varies from semester to semester).As in an academic year there are 2 semsters,the fee per year becomes roughly around Rs.1.5 Lakh.This is an accumulative fee including tuition fee and all other miscellaneous fees.So,the total coyrse fees come around Rs.700000.For the SC/ST categories,you will just have to pay the miscellaneous fees which will come around Rs.4000 per year. There are many scholarships both govt. and non-govt. which the students can avail on merit basis. Some of them are:- 1)Ishan Uday Merit Scholarship-Rs.80000 per year. 2)NEC Merit Scholarship-Rs.22000 per year. A dedicated scholarship section is there in the campus,where they help you to apply for scholarships and also to enquire details about them.

Cultural fest-MOKSHA-held annually in the month of February. Technical fest-AAYAM-held annually in March Books in library-Technical ans well as non-technical books. Smartclass,projector facilities,Incudes some AC classrooms as well. Dedicated sports complex within the campus. Various tech based and contech clubs like-Aero club,robotics club,mbaja and ebaja club,drama club,fine arts club etc.

Basic furnitures available in the rooms. Meal options of both Veg and Non-Veg. Alternative meal menu for 7days of week. 3 major meals and evening snacks. Clean mess and acceptable food quality. Once you get admissions there is a clear application process for hostels.

I applied in various other colleges like KIIT and VIT and my admission got confirmed in all the other colleges.They reason I chose NIT Agartala was due to an affordable price of education and also,better internship and placement opportunities. I did not get a rejection from other colleges,I rejected other colleges.They cut off varies feom year to year,but having greater than 90 percentile is an adviseable score.The admission process was overall good. You get to NITs based on your JEE Mains exam score,followed by counselling sessions like JOSAA,CSAB.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:50.Student faculty relationship is very well versed.They are easily appraochable and individual doubt clearing sessions are common.Interacting with faculties regarding academic as well as personal hardships are encouraged.In my department all faculties are good.Exams are conducted twice a semster i.e one mid sem exam and one end sem exam.There are class test during the semester which go on for internal markings.Mid sem has a total of 20 marks and end sem has a total of 50 marks.Rest 30 marks are evaluated on internals.

Gym is there in the sports complex.Food kiosks all over the campus.No all-night cafeterias or food hubs within the campus. Hostels are open for 24hrs.Wheres for girls there is some time restriction,which depends time to time. Famous hangout places-SAC building,Shopping complex. The locality is extremely safe for night life.
