Likes

Space of college campus. It is huge and have all types of ground
Extra curricular activities like drama and dance societies
Well trained professional teachers were there

Dislikes

Irregular classes and many times classes were postponed
Admin is not supportive enough. Infact its rude
Library is not spacious and not well equipped

Course Curriculum Overview

Political science course is specifically for those preparing for civil services and over the years we get to learn western politics, comparitive politics and international relations which is bedrock of PSIR optional in UPSC cse.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for B.A.POLITICAL SCIENCE HONOURS is 30k per year and additional 3k exam fee per year. The fees for all categories were same but i think there is government scholarship for SC and ST students in which whole fee is refunded.

Campus Life

There is bachelors party ,annual fest , farewell party, quiz , debate and much more. Thery have vibrant societies which one can join according to their interest. There is intercollege competition too there.

Admission

I applied to all colleges in DU According to my percentage i got admission in a decent college in DU. In 2019 the admission process was through marks basis of 12th but now DU takes admission on the basis of CUET.

Faculty

Faculty members were good professors. The exam scheme is semestersl wise and total 6 semesters are there. Exams are descriptive and you have to be regular in class for attendence otherwise you internal marks are cut

Night Life

Cafeteria is good and huge there. Library is ok ok. The playground is huge and there is football and basketball court and an archery arena. The college also has cool places in and around south delhi to explore

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

The vibe around the college is emmaculate, we are offered to engage in diversity and continously interact within and outside the college. The entrace procedure for DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI is through CUET entrance test- the score should vary between 450-600/700 for BA hons courses and 300-400 for BCS courses and 550-650+/700 for BCOM courses My reason for choosing this college was firstly it being a women's college and secondly the faculty members proved to be the best here...Read More

I had applied to DU , BHU and MADRAS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE out of which i got selected in Maitreyi DU AND MADRAS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE. I couldnt make it to BHU because of very high cutoffs for general category students.
