College life masti is a overhyped concept

My first choice was English honours but i missed the chance because i waited till 3rd cut off since i was also opting for other colleges and venky was not in my list. But overall the course i chose (hindi hons.) was pretty good and is not that easy as people make it seem to be.

So at first & second sem combined i had paid around 12k then in third and fourth sem i paid around 16k and 18k around . Okay so i dont remember the precise numbers so please correct me if im wrong also i dont know about other batchmates fees. I guess it was same for all and was not categorised.

I did not liked the vibe of my college (it can vary from person to person so dont mind) . I did not find a single good person that i can genuinely socialise with. I tried socialising but yeah again the cat calling back bitching thingy. If you only want friends for parties and show off you may like the vibe. Again it was my exprience , your exprience might differ from mine . The fests in this college are to die for tho

I never heard of this college before. I was bound to choose this college as i opted for it in 3rd cut off list because i had other colleges in my mind but their cut off were too high for English honours and one mistake i did was i went for mainstream colleges ( i did not know venky was one of them too) See DU is DU . It depends on the crowd more rather than the infra and name of that college honestly

Honestly if you want me to be honest. The vibe depends on faculty to faculty. Some faculties are very welcoming like arts and all the other (science) will judge you for taking arts but lowkey want to be like you too , ykwim . Some of the faculties were really biased. The exams are easy honestly if you are not into studies you just need to study 2-3 days before exams and learn some important points and youre good to go. But this is only before NEP tho. Idk about how things have changed after NEP.

There's no gym, but don yall worry cuz the sports area is actually v good. The canteen is such a vibe (only if these music socs stop ruining our peace of mind by not practising there) also some cringe friends group you come across in day to day life. The food is yum . We also have maggie point .idk about hostels. If you want to hangout go to satya niketan opposite to our college.
