The course is highly aligned with regard to the placement as most of the important subjects are taught in 2-3year of BTech and students who prepare for exams like GATE or CAT get plenty of help from the library as the books are available for the aspirants.

Big tech giants like amazon,paypal,jpmc, Morgan Stanley etc hire from our university under internship and apprenticeship roles. The stipend is between 50k-1L+. The companys also offer ppo to good and sincere interns.

Students start sitting for internship related opportunities since the 5th semester and the majority of companies visit the university in the 7th semester. 6-7th semester is eligible for students to take NOC from the University and go for their internships. Till now more than half of the batch Is placed. The average package is around 4.5Lpa and the highest is around 45Lpa till now.

The fee varies for every student. I have my academic scholarship,girl child discount,head start, semester discount and uttarakhand domicile. So 30%+25%+10%+10%+5%. The registration fee was ?1200 and then ?27000(once) for admission fee in which ?5000 will be refunded after the course completion. The fee is different for every individual and hugely depends on the region of 10th,12th education. If you don't have a domicile but 10th and 12th is done in uttarakhand then you are eligible for 25% discount per semester. I paid around 91000 for my first semester and then the fee varied between 75k-90k per semester.

Activities keep on taking place in our university. I have been a part of three clubs and the experience have been delightful so far. Various events like aarambh,hindi pakhwada,MUN etc are organised by the clubs. In accordance to the sports region multiple students play state and national through the university team. Social media is always kept upto date with the most recent events happening. The grafest is the most important event of the entire year.

I only applied to this university as it was under my budget and the placements were good. The facilities were good and I had seniors who studied in this college before me so they suggested me this university. The admission criteria largely depends on your class 12&10th percentage as well as JEE score(if given). The most preferred course here is B.Tech CSE and every year mass of students get hired from our university.

The faculties are very approachable and they help often. But the thing is that we need to be a sincere one in their eyes. If we disrespect their state of being then that does not end well. I like almost majority of them because I have seen instances where they provided help. There are not much reasons to dislike them as I haven't encountered much of a trouble with my faculty members. The question paper for exam is set in all 3 campus of hill University and it's luck which set will get selected. At times it comes out to be easy but sometimes it exceeds are expectation of difficulty. If the question paper is difficult then the marking is linient.

There is a common library where students can take books from by the means of their ID card. There is a huge basement parking lot. The hostel is safe and provides good facilities. The campus timings are from 8am-6pm ( depends on your shift of lectures). Famous hangout place inside the university is the tuck shop or happiness hut cafe whereas outside the university there are plenty of them.
