Course Curriculum Overview

4

To be honest not just my college but the entire indian eduaction system of india is quite old and doest make relevance with the current times . I choose Bachelor of arts cause i had interest in the field of social sciences but after taking the course i felt that the curriculum is quite old and doesnt make me job ready for the industry. The curriculum needs to be re-designed so that it can actully help the learner to solve real world problems

Placement Experience

2

the placements or the placement enviromnt of my college is not that good or i would say its bad. There are barely any placements and they pay very low like 8 thousands or maximum 12 to 15 thousands. The employability after completeing the course is not that much i mean what we learn in the curriculum is not what the recruiter demands . we study yaers old curriculum that does not mak any relevance in the prsent world so most the students stuggles to land a job

Fees and Financial Aid

So currently i am studying in the University of Delhi and doing my under graduation in Bachelor of arts .My fee structure was based on yearly system when i have to pay 8000 or 8500 , cause it changes in every 2 or 3 years although its not that high as being compared to other private universities, and when you ask about is the fees increasing or not so its increasing every year for exmple last yaer it was 7800 but this year it was 8320 rupees its not that huge amount but still the fee is definitely increasing

Campus Life

4

the campus life is good like most of the basic facilities are available in the college campus including kirana stores and first aid pretty much basic things. we have a very huge library with good facilities provided to the students . There are various clubs like music club, cinema club, science club and many more , overall the social aspect of the college is good

Admission

I got this college through an entrance exam called common university entrance exam and i got delhi university although i had applied for so many other colleges but did not get selected in my dream college, so i choose this college by thw way its not a bad college so i choose it and applied for the admissions and got the admission successfully but the process the was really tiring , there were times when the official websit of the college did not work properly

Faculty

5

the faculty memebers are really good and all very qualified in their respective fields , Classes are held regularly with every teacher giving its best to make the future of the students bright and they are very helpful towrads the students helping them in every way possible . Now talking about the exam system and marking schme so exams are held every sesmster and with parcticles completing the grade system

Night Life

4

the nightlife of my college is quite good, everyone roaming without any fear, the sceurity is quite good and there are small cafes for the students where they can eat and drink. in the night eveyone walks with their discussing iver somehting and the enviroment is really good and secure. the lirary is open for/ 24/7 and a community gym is alos there where students can woekout

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
