The College have an atmosphere of studiousness ,ans it is at a distance from main city also there are other colleges nearby like Global institute of science and technology and Haldia Law College, Haldia Institute of Maritime Studies and Research.
Course Curriculum Overview
The College is affiliated to MAKAUT ( Maulana abul kalam azad University of technology ) formerly known as WBUT ( West Bengal University of technology ) Its follows its syllabus , there are assignments and two internal exams before each semester.
Placement Experience
Some Streams have better opportunities than other but most of the students are placed by the end of the year. College also provides internships also it gives noc if you get any internship on your own. stipend varies a lot depending upon company you work in.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are standard for all streams, if the student falls under TFW he/she have benefits also there are some scholarship schemes. The fee structure is not very expensive. The fee is paid half yearly i.e. beginning of each semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you fall under TFW category the fee is very low and for others if your government provides any kind of scholarship for education, getting it cleared from college is easy for more details visit student welfare office.
Campus Life
The Campus is huge , lots of opportunities for extracurricular activities , there are groups ,gym, computer, mechanical, electrical, etc wide range of labs, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes Senior Students are really helpful some are like family here. If you want to get in touch with any alumni your teacher will help with that or the current seniors. Also you can get study material from them.
Admission
After appearing for WBJEE and JEE mains , went for online councilling and choose Haldia Institute of Technology as one of my options. Then a date is given in which you have to come to college with documents and its a one day process.
Faculty
There are mixed faculty in our college some seniors and some recent joinie, but you will always have your doubts clear from one of the faculty. All are generally friendly , you must be good to them in class.
