Remarks
Positive side is that the college is one of the top rated engineering colleges in West Bengal. Negative aspect is it's location. It's quite in an odd place of Kolkata,near to Garia Railway Station. It can be reached from Kavi Subhash Metro Station.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is the one prescribed by MAKAUT as it is affiliated to MAKAUT. There are 2 semesters in an academic year. Total 8 semesters in 4 years course. You need to get Value Added Points too apart from the academic marks.
Placement Experience
The placements are good here. The students are required to sit in the pool campusing organized by Techno India group. The placement meter clocked around 70% each year. Internships are provided here but an individual needs to show attraction towards them otherwise they won't be offered.
College Events
Prelude-Freshers Welcome party Independence Day celebration Agamani Samhar Mesmerizer Departmental farewell parties. Then there are several other fests too like Avenir,Aavahan,etc. Several fests are organized by several brands visiting the campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is all same as the other private engineering colleges in West Bengal. It's 3.93 lacs in 4 years. But in order to do several trainings one needs to paid additional charges which are not quite expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's a loan facility offered by the college under the aiges of Punjab National Bank. But one can take loan from several other banks too. The college directly doesn't provide scholarships. It is provided by Techno India group as per their arrangements or regulations.
Campus Life
Extracurriculars are to be rated 7/10.One will get musical fests,dance,sports,debate,quiz,technical enhancements,etc.But there's a process of taking permission from faculties and then join these otherwise the attendance percentage will be affected.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni department depends on the department an individual will get admitted. The departments of EIE,ECE,IT,BCA have good alumni networks while CSE, BBA have average and CE n ME doesn't have any sort of network.
Admission
I did appear for WBJEE then in the counseling process,I got this college and then I went to the campus on receiving my provisional allotment letter. Then I paid the required fees and got myself admitted here.
Faculty
Faculties are good. They seem to be helpful especially when I gets promoted to the 2nd year. The departmental faculties are way better than the 1st year faculties.But nonetheless all of them are highly qualified and teach in a good manner.
