IIT KHARAGPUR is one of the best institute in term of placements, it has a well organized CDC(Career development centre) which takes care of all sort of placements and internships, and also provides platform for practicing interview and group discussion. And for internship stripends varies but on an average it is around 40,000 per month.

Spring fest is our cultural fest, celebrated with many competitions and cultural events, Khitij our tech fest organized to enhance the technology related events. Rather than that many departments organize their departmental fest. Also few societies organize their fest such as entrepreneur summit by entrepreneur cell.

It's expensive for middle lower class family but for that they provides tuition fee waiver of atmost ?2 lakhs, and rather than that those hostel fee, mess fee and all other fees are around ?40 thousands per semester, and if we consider full tuition fees then it goes around ?1,40000 per semester.

Scholarships offered are Merit cum Means Scholarship Inspire Scholarship. Free Mess and Pocket Allowance Organizational Scholarships & Fellowships Alumni Scholarships & Awards SGR International Travel Grant, and their is scholar loan facility offered by SBI branch in the campus.

Labs are well equipped here, but in few labs the instruments are too old. Sports facilities are great here along with synthetic athletics track, olympic size swimming pools,tennis court etc. There are many hobby related societies for dance, singing, painting and literature.

Here in my college there there are 20 hostels all are controlled by HMC(hall management comitee).I stay in LBS(Lal bahadur Shastri) hall of residence, which is the largest hostel in the campus with three student in one room have enough space, bathrooms are a bit dirty.

Alumni mentorship will start soon, which will help students to get a guidance to pursue their career, along with that also student mentorship programe by student well fate group helps a lot. Seniors are very helpful here they are the most important human asset in our campus.

After clearing JEE ADVANCED 2018, I was counselled at my college and according to my rank and course choice I got one allotted course by JOSSA which is a platform that controls the admission s in all engineering colleges.

They are well qualified, and have great knowledge but fails to make things interesting, so most of the students are not interested on attending classes, it's better to study on your own.They are actually do not meet our expectations.
