Positive remarks are good Infrastructure and location, good environment, helpful friends and senior and faculty. Negative remarks is placement for non CS and IT students. Very less opportunity for non CS and IT students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is based on AICTE guidelines. 100 Marks for Mathematics. MCQ based. 60 Questions will be carried 1 marks and 20 Questions will be carried 2 marks. Duration 3 hrs. 100 Marks for Physics and Chemistry. 30 Questions from physics 1 marks and 10 questions 2 marks each and same for chemistry. Duration 3hrs.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities for Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronic Engineering is superb. TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, CTS, Infosys, and IBM provide phase one placement opportunities. 2 stage start with only departmental company for different branches.
College Events
Every season started with Football tournament. Annual Sports, Basketball Tournament, Tech Festival, Cricket Tournament, Cultural Festival, Farewell ceremony, Alumni Meet, Independence Day, Republic day and College foundation day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure was as per as Govt. of West Bengal rule. 1st semester fees was Approx 60k including admission fees, library fees, sports and games fees, registration fees and caution deposit. From 2nd semester onwards 36k + 1k University examination fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, one can avail scholarship from college. Rule is Family annual income is less than 1.5 Lac PA and CGPA should be 7.5 or more and must be recsident of West Bengal from last 10 yrs. College management will provide half fees scholarship or full fee scholarship after verification.
Campus Life
Most of the laboratory are DST and CSIR sponsored. Equipment are less as per as head count. Most of the equipment are expensive and you can't operate. If you can manage your lab instructor they will guide you how to operate all equipment. Extra curricular activities and sports was excellent.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not strong. Seniors are helpful and friendly. They will guide you in your academics like a friend. They will invite you all parties and trips. If you have any behaviour issue they will guide you on this as well.
Admission
Appear of WBJEE, Exam, after Merit list declearation online counselling process started. Paid fees for online counselling. All Government and Private institution participate in this councelling process. We need choose our preferred course and College name as per as our choice. You can take part 3 round of councelling process. Once you will get your preferred colleague and course in councelling process, you can lock the college seat and you will have take admission in that college within a week. If you think you deserve better college, you can wait for next round of councelling process upto 3 councelling process.
Faculty
When I took admission college, my college was popular for faculty and placement. Most of the faculty members was highly educated and had work experience in reputed government institutions.
