Average engineering college

An average college from the perspective of placement and a good college for BTech degree if that's what you want at all. If you come here for a sure shot at placement then you are wrong place my friend.

Course curriculum is very hectic and I suppose most of the engineer would agree to that. In 5 months of a sem we get 2 internals and one semester exam. After 2 months of starting of college we go through first internal then after next month comes second internal followed by practical exams with minimal gap and SEM exam

Placement and job opportunity is quite average or below average. TCS is the major company that takes most of the students who ofcourse get out in a couple of month. College doesn't provide internship and job opportunities also depends on your CGPA so make it alright.

There are not many events in this hectic routine in engineering college. There is a yearly freshers, farewell, fest and most famous Paridhi event in the college. Many college come to participate in this tech fest and it's fun and learning experience for all.

In four year it will cost you somewhere like 4 lakhs and yes it's quite expensive but if you are able to take loan go for it. You can take merit based scholarships as well. Some government based scholarships are also there. You must keep an update to it.

Loan facility is available. You must contact the fees department for it and they will tell you the process. Also there are some merit based scholarships but mainly students avail government based scholarships. You must keep yourself updated as all this happens in first year

There is very minimal extracurricular activity as there is no college owned playground and we are supposed to be here for study that's the reason why we choose engineering. Lab is very good and have all required equipment the curriculum demands. Although they are old but they are being replaced and labs are really very good in this college

There is a FB page for alumni network and senior students. Yes senior students are very helpful and they help us. There is no fear of ragging. It's a ragging free college that I can assure you of. The almuni network might not be so good but senior are certainly!

We had to go through WBJEE. Based on ranks college was provided and I got this college. Some get admission via JEE mains as well. Same procedure of rank based admission is there. After you get the college name then you have to go to college for admission procedure that includes fees payment and payment of other stuff. No other exams are conducted

Faculty is quite good. Different people may have different opinion on how they understand the teaching. I must say the faculty is really good in this college. Utmost care is taken for the welfare of a student that obviously includes some harsh measures as well which indeed is necessary to some extent to bind us!
