UIT of 2024 batch

I choose this cource because of my interest in computer science and engineering and my cousin brothers who are also doing job this feild also advised me to pursue this but in the end they all advised me to do what your mind seems into. I think this course teaches us the very basic of the industry but this course entirely do not teaches us the things that require us to survive in this industry. These things are needed to be learned by us on our own. I think there are many areas of improvement in the teaching style of this institute mostly in the interactive section of the students.

As I am a B.tech 1st year student I don't have much idea of this process but I far as I got to know that there are placements offerd in exchange of money and projects and online classes are provided after collage to thise students.

After the completion of 3rd semster students get eligible to apply for collage campus internship programs and after graduation the placement programs takes place in 2024 the there was a student of B.tech who secures her position in Google during placement with about 15-16LPA package. I also want to try to get a on campus job but if not I will try to apply for off campus jobs because of the very less placements that this collage gets.

There was one Engineers Day fest celebrated with lost of activities like ballon pop, ramp walk, singing performances, boat race, robo war and dance performances. Another one was garba/dandiya night and ganesh pooja. Then there was a talent fest "Festla" organised by B.BA department.

I applied for Govind Ballab Pant Institute of Technology but due to medical problems I was unable to go to exam . Then after some research and recommendations I choose Uttaranchal University. The admission process was very easy if you fill the online application form of about ?2,000 and you don't have to wait in que in the admission cell for application submission. Almost 90% of the admission process can be done online with your phone only and in the collage you just have to go to submit original documents.

There are about 72 faculty members in B.tech 1st year with the student body of about 800. If the student is regular, good in studies then the faculty is absolutely interactive and nice with that type of student. The faculty also tries to interact with the poor academic students but the class is very big so everyone rarely gets chance to shine. I like Mr.Ramnarayan sir who teaches us python, he is very understanding and he even helps you in your personal problems when asked personally. I don't like the teaching style of Priyanka ma'am who teaches us Engineering Mathematics. There are two exams per semester. Midterm and Endsem examination they both are average level difficult.

There are food stalls, restraunts, cafes near collage, gyms food courts, turf area. There is also Vishal Mega Mart near collage and within a 10-15 min walk Premnagar market comes from where we can get transports for different place in Dehradun. The market also has multiple banks, gyms, shops of all kinds. Hostle general timings and a 4:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on working days and 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on off days. We can use a application and a phone call of parents to apply for permint to go out for multiple days.
