Remarks

Overall i love my college the faculty and crowd is good. Best part is our college is fully air conditioned and all of them work properly. We have lots of fun in campus there are some negative things which i guess each institution have.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is quite tough. We have two core subjects in this which includes micro and mathematical methods for Economics in first semester and macro and mathematical methods for Economics in second semester. And we also have an aeec subject which has evs and eng any one for each semester selected by college and we also have a general elective which we have to choose from a given subject list which are not of your course.

Placement Experience

4

Yes our college do provide job and placement opportunities as well as intersnship. The highest paid package from our college this year was of ?9 lakh per annum which was offered to our course senior. And internships are offered regularly and specially in internship fair organised by our college. Most internships are not paid but provide travel expenses, overall the opportunities offered are quite good.

College Events

2

We don't have our official fresher's due to the bad experiences from past. First event held was the sports one in which inter course competition is held for different games, i also participated and our team had won also. Then we had photography society exhibition then art society and these kind of events happen often. Then we had our fest of three days as well as society fest also which was so much fun. Afterwards we had annual function and annual meet which goes for few days. And many events happen often in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible it is not more that 20k or 25k. So it is not much as many other private colleges charge more than 50k. So all DU colleges have feasible fees. If you get good college your fees will be less as you move downwards on a list of good colleges the fees will be more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't avalied any these kind of scholarship but my friends from J & K got the full scholarship And rebate also in the cut off. I don't know much about the criteria but i know that this is specifically for students from J & K.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college support sports a lot but not other extra - curricular activities like damce and music. The society's do not get much support and struggles regarding different decisions. The labs and sports activities are to good. !!!!

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful and guiding. We had lot of fun with are seniors not only our course seniors but also seniors which we met in different socities.so the crowd of college is pretty cool and good.

Admission

Firstly i checked the cut-off list on internet and saw that i am eligible for this College then i applied for this College online on DU website and took a print out for admission form and then the next day i visited the college with all the required documents and passport size photographs.there they will give you another form from the reception window and charge ?200 for the prospectus and it it compulsory to purchase then i went in that room where teachers of that department were present and guided me regarding the course and filling the form. Then we submitted the form and a person took that for stamp then come back give us receipt to be used as id for few days ro enter college and afterwards i paid payment online.

Faculty

4

Like in all colleges all the faculty members can't be good like wise we have many good teachers who make us understand things which very clarity but there are one or two teachers who are not that much serious and many times cancel class.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
