If you have to choose any distance learning college then the best university is DU SOL

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of BA eco is best among the all university in India but you have to study by self you didn't have to rely on faculties of university in regular college faculties have enough time to complete the course but in SOL faculties didn't have enough time to complete the course

Class Size: 625Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of BA eco from SOL DU overall comes at 8500-9000. SOL offer a financial assistance to students for those who comes in a category like SC,ST,PWD,EWS and all details about scholarship give at SOL office.

Campus Life

In SOL you have to go only on Sunday and the batch size in very large you have many students to interact and focusing on social aspects and their is no club involvement and with the sem they provide new centre for PCP classes

Admission

I didn't apply in any college because i have work in prop firm thet is why i choose SOL for study. In the distance learning SOL is the best college there is no doubt. And the admission process is very easy you have to register on SOL website and there no barriers for any student for admission

Faculty

The curriculum of SOL is same as regular courses of DU and faculties are also good they are assistant professor and research students. Faculties are good but faculty to student ratio is very low and you have to wait for sunday to ask anything they didn't provide any email aur contact details for any queries.

Interview Experience

No their is no and any entrance test for admission in SOL and any student can take admission in SOL whi have cleared 12th class without any entrance exam aur any barrier. Normal you have to just fill the form

Night Life

Their is no campus life you have to only on Sunday and yov will live anywhere in delhi according to your comfort. Generally students will live in PG in laxmi nagar and near north campus or near to their coaching classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
