i chose btech in information technology.its a great course.so the advantage i felt is that, they would start their syllabus from complete base. as a science student,even i was able to catch up almost with others.you just have to put the work,they would give all the instructions. the placements are also great.

so the greatest advantage of taking information technology is that you might get a chance to do a internship for google at second year. its only limited for 12 students , and will be selected according to their skills .

from thrid year onwards, I.T students gets to start placed.several companies come and offer great packages. more than 80% of students get placed and several others continue their studies.after getting degree , i would like to do my masters at germany , complete the course while travel through europe in the meanwhile.

So there are mainly two different types of seat you can acquire in cochin university. All india merit and state merit. A student alloted to all india merit will have a fees of 55000 rupees per sem. And the state merit will have 23500 rupees per sem. I am studying as a state merited student. Other than these two , there is nri seat , and various other according to your reservations. This admission process is entirely based on cusat cat exam rank. Those who got great ranks will be alloted to state merit and so on. based on reservations fee structure will be different entirely.there are even reservations for students whose father is a gulf resident,or a student whose father works as a fisherman.

the facilities here is outstanding. and i try to use it more and more daily. i am very intrested in sports and athletics. so i mostly train every night playing basketball , the court will be open till 9pm. and badminton court will be open till 10:00.there are lots of clubs here focusing on extra curricular.

cusat is one of the prestigious colleges in south india.it known all over the world. so when the cat rank was published, i got a decent ran and thought about studying in cusat., i also got admission in govt colleges through keem. but cusat was the best option.admission process in cusat is entirely based on the rank in cusat cat examination.

.the faculties are great.calculus teachers isone of the best teacher i had.her nsme is krishna praba .she makes sure each topic is clear to everyone ,only then she will continue to the next topic.there is two sereis exams and a external semesterexam in one semester. the two series testr will ne in 30 marks. this exam would be almost easy{almost everyone can score a decent good marks}.both the marks will be added and average would taken and converted into 15.then 5 marks for attendance,and 15 for assignments.total 50 in internal exams.and sem exam would be in 50.total in 100.semester exam would be tough compared to internal exams.

nightlife is great here. you can peacefully have a great night with friends, having tea and talking till midnight, its great . also i train my basketball skills at night . stadiums are open till 9pm. there are lots of hangout places , cafes , coolbars , which will be open till midnight , and will be packed with lot of students all the time.
