College Events

3.5

First of all orientation is done and the students are introduced to all the faculty members. Here students get to know about the college and faculty members. Then fresher party is arranged for the freshers by college Union. Their are many departments in our college such as commerce dept, economics dept, environmental society, nss, which conducts many programmes and events all round the years. Any students can participate in these events and gets a platform to show their talent. At the end of the year college feast is arranged by college Union and college cultural programme is celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college fee structure is very feasible. Its around 28000-30000 for 3 years of graduation programme. Since its a government funded college its fee is quite feasible. College also provides rewards in the form of scholarships for bright candidates. It also provides scholarships for SC/ST and OBC Candidates.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarships for the brighter students. College also provides scholarships to students who are good in the field of sports and other co-curricular activities. College also provides scholarships to students who have poor background or SC/ST students.

Campus Life

This college don't had its own hostel. Sports quota gets extra diet. Overall it's a nice journey which I ever went through and still going on. They are ready to help is out in whichever problem we are. Teachers and professors are also good in their behavior. It wa just like a smooth journey of my life

Hostel Facilities

3.5

: I am not satisfied with the infrastructure as I thought it would be beautiful as shown in the movies, but in reality, it is not the same. Still, the new building is somewhat good. Overall, the infrastructure is average. Gym and sports complex are average, and the ground is also not much huge.

Alumni/Alumna

College conducts aluminai meets every year. Our aluminis are working in almost every sector in the country. Their suggestion and information are very helpful for the college and students. Students can talk to our aluminais and talk their suggestions and reviews about many confusions.

Exam Structure

The course was a relaxable course and need not required a much of lab visit and exams. Course is very good and the most reputed course in the Delhi University and has practical application also in life. The subjects taught are Financial Accounting, Business law, Introductory Micro Economics amd Environmental studies.

Faculty

My opinion is so good towards the faculty of the college and commerce department. In their arts society, all the teachers are so good and experienced a good way of teaching. Every teacher behavior is good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
