As the college is in Dehradun surrounded by many highly reputed colleges due to which you get opportunities to attend pool campus drive of multi national company in those colleges. And placement rate of college is very good, I got placed in Mindtree and my batchmates are placed in Capgemini, TCS and many more core companies. Average package student recieve from college is 3.25 LPA.

Shivalik college of engineering with good quality of academic it also focus on entertainment of students. When the new student take admission they are welcomed by seniors by freshers party in the month of September or October. The yearly festival of college Shiva fest held in the month of April. Farewell party is thrown by juniors for the student of last semester in the month of April.

Fee structure of Shivalik college of engineering is quite feasible as compare to other private engineering colleges. Fees increases in every 2 to 3 year but in 2015 fees for 1 semester is around 45 thousand and hostle fees is 60 thousand per year ( 3 time meals + snacks and accomodation).

With good academic quality Shivalik college of engineering is also focus on extracurricular activities. College have a very huge library on the name of our ex president late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Shivalik college is very famous for their cricket, basketball and football team in Uttarakhand technical University. They have won may prizes in intra University matches. Labs are also very good with latest equipments and very experienced lab assistant.

Hostel infrastructure is very good. Hostel is provided in college campus only. Mess is also very good. Food is of very good quality and very hygienic. Hostel room is 3 sharing. Washroom are common for one floor. Washrooms are clean everyday. Laundry facilities are also provided.

Shivalik college of engineering host a alumni meet every year. In which seniors share their success story. College is also have alumni website in which their is every details of alumni like where the are working and where they currently located. Seniors are quite helpful. They help in each and every matter from subjects to projects.

As I am engineering student course is of 4 years divided into 8 semester. 2 semester a year and there is one final exam in every semester and two sessional exam per semester. If you got fail in any subject it will count as back. If you got more than 4 back in one year you will get year back. You have clear that year once again.

I have given jee mains entrance exam in 2015 which I got 105 marks and in 12th I got 72% and then I applied for Shivalik college and attend the councelling after that I was selected for admission. After councelling Director sir took my interview and then I got admission is Shivalik college of engineering

Faculty of our college is very good. They have proper qualification to teach the engineering student. Faculty is very supportive. Faculty is very friendly they not only clear the subject doubts but they help in giving knowledge about new technology. One faculty will be your mentor which will be act like your guardian which is very good.
