Remarks

The college needs to give support for students in activities like sports. These years, students are performing very well in academics.some even topped the university.so they should be encouraged. If possible, the number of seats in college hostel should be increased,as students may face problem in accommodation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Coming to arts department, there will be a little uncomfortability with the time table. The classes will not be held in arow as that of the science department.so students who are coming from far away places might face some difficulty. The rest is fine.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there are internship facilities in our college. The stipend varies from course to course and the type of internship you choose.one of my friends got an internship in Chegg, which is an international platform where students ask and clarify doubts on various subjects. The stipend he gets depend on number of questions he solves and the type of feedbacks he gets.

Placement Experience

3.5

They are good. There will be placements for every course. And you will get updates or other information about the opportunities by your classmates itself. The job opportunities will depend upon your talent like anywhere else.

College Events

4

There will be department fests for every department. And as mentioned earlier, the annaul fest "Nexus" is very very famous. It was attended byany celebrities like Kailash Kher,Armaan Malik,Sunidhi Chauhan.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very less compared to other private colleges.Generally it doesn't cost you more than Rs15,000 for any course. And you have to pay seater exam fees which is not so expensive. students can avail scholarship facilities as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Like in other colleges all over India, you can avail scholarship facilities based on merit, caste, economic situation. For economically weaker sections, they will avail scholarship of nearly RS10,000 a year. And based on merit,a student can avail the same amount approximately. And a single girl child can also avail scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

They are also fine. The college has a ground maintained by sonnet academy.players like Shikhar Dhawan,Rishabh pant are from this academy. And there are many societies in the college which helps students to enrich their talent and also allows them to perform in other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is very good.It is also maintained byTTD.There are limited seats.Students with highest percentage get the hostel facility. The food is of North Indian style. There are two hostels for boys and girls separately.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni,as I have mentioned earlier, compared to other colleges, they are not bad.Coming to senior students, there is a student called Vasuki who is from B A (Programme) who topped DSE(Delhi School of Economics).

Exam Structure

It is a semester system. There will be two semesters in a year.It is CBCS(Choice based credit system). On an average a student will have four subjects and five based on the course. The semester system is same as in other universities.

Admission

The notification will be released in May for under graduation.Generally there will be cut off released in June for all of the colleges in Delhi University, bit as the cut off mark has reached the maximum marks, this year there are much more chances of an entrance exam based selection of students.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is one of the best. The economics department is the best and we'll organised. There are many senior professors who has excellent teaching skills. They are of help to you.The classes will be held regularly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
