Course Curriculum Overview

3

i would like to rate the overall course curriculum a 7/10 because it can be a bit better too.there are some good core subjetcs which are industry relevant and important for placements however some subjects are outdated and do not align with modern tech.they can introduce ai/ml which is required in idustry these days a lot.they can increase the internships opportunities by interacting more with the industry and with the help of interactive teaching.

Internships Opportunities

3

AIT provides internship opportunities but is lesser than placement opportunity . internships are mainly promoted through college placements drive and college networks. ait students often land internships while leading tech companies. some internship drive includes citibank mastercard.

Placement Experience

4

the placements of our college are very strong especially for branches like computer and information . the electronics students also get decent opportunities . students become eligible for placements in thier 7th semester that is fourth year . internships start from 6th semester and many companies offer pre placement offers based on your internship performance . the highest package is around 20 lakhs per annum and average is around 7 lakh to 8 lakh.my plans after graduation is get placed in prodeuct based company like amazon, goldman sachs etc . is i dont get high paying job then i will apply for GATE or CAT for mba .

Fees and Financial Aid

this college provides two degresss one is BE(bachleor in engineering) and ME(masters).the yearly fees of our college varies from 3lakh rupees to 4 lakh rupees per year.it includes the hostel fees as well.however if you are not residing in hostels then you just have to pay the acadmedic fees .and yes the fees always increases evey year by 10 % therfore the fees is quite high.there is no quota for sc /st aur even for girls the admission takes place purely on the basis of jee mains ranking. there are many scholarships that you get like merit cum scholarship, horizon scholarship, udchalo scholarips and many more which you get based on the cgpa you get.

Campus Life

3

campus life is a balanced mix of cultural , acadmics , and discipline.there many students clubs for cultural events . there are many cultural events fests that heppens in college there are many technical events too like solutions which is technical fest .it also has library with many books and good infrastructure it also provides reading hall for students to study which are air conditioned.

Hostel Facilities

4

the hostel facilities are decent .rooms are shared among 2-4 students .each room is furnished with beds chair and warddrobe. rooms have 24/7 power backup with fans and tubelight . high spped wifi is also available but speeds may vary. regular cleaning services for washrooms and toilets is regular. the meal quality is decent but varies breakfast is usually light with options like poha , upma bread butter. students can also go to canteens for eating food.

Admission

i chose this college because of disciplined environment and good placement opportunities compared to other private college.since it is exclusively for army perssonnel children it provides peer group with a shared background.yes i did got a rejection from bits pilani as the cutoff was very high and competition was extremely high.i should have prepared better for bitsat .for applying to ait pune you have to be army personnel kid candidates must have completed 12 th grade with pcm .admission is on the basis of jee mains rank.the admission process starts online and very smooth.there is no management quota ensuring transparency and fair to all students.

Faculty

3

the faculty to student ratio is around 1:15 and 1:20 ensuring every student gets much attention .professors are generally approachable . while some teachers are friendly and suppportive but some are very strict and less engaging.the sourse follows SPPU syllabus with a mix of core subjects lab and electives.AIT follows 2 semester system per year.one is insem of 30 marks one is endsem for 70 marks practical and viva is of 50 marks and assignments and internal assessments are of 20 marks.

Night Life

3

ait pune has a disciplined and secure environment so nightlife inside the campus is quite restrictive and limited. the curfew timings for girls is less than boys. the inside canteen is open till 10 pm for snacking .however you also get night time canteen .

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
