College is strict. This is a good point about college. All faculties supports in all type of competitions regarding the technical aspects. And some teachers are not supporting the other activities. This is the bad ppint of the department only.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course is very good. Very rare colleges are offering this electrical engineering course. So less number pf students are there for the competition. And there are many opportunities in this field in government sector.
Internships Opportunities
Yes my college provides internship. Every year interested students gets internship in the various industries such as rakesh transformers and manisha transformers. If anyone wants to do internship from their known place then the students can do it.
Placement Experience
A few years ago more companies were coming. But now a days many of them are not comong because of the students who got selected in the company but not gone to the company. But the placement is quite good.
College Events
Many events are organized by the college department. Every department has there own event where all college students can take participation. The event is organized by students only. And at February there is a gathering in college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for the open category candidates is 1,00,000 rupees per year. And if a student is from a lower cast then he is getting the scholarship from the government. So for OBC students fees is 50, 000 rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Government is supporting the students which are from lower cast. And the students who are unable to pay fees of the college. Farmer's childrens are getting scholarships. For getting the scholarship all students family income should be less than 8,00,000 rupees.
Campus Life
The labs are getting old day by day. The test equipments in the lab are from 1991 so many of them are not working properly and many of them have replaced by the college. But some of them had not replaved by the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good. The hostel is for only the boys. There was no place for girls for the hostel. But they have now a place goven for the girls for the hostel. Hostel gets lock at the 11 Pm for the boys and for the girls it is till 9 Pm.
Alumni/Alumna
When i was applying for the college i had taken the suggestions of the senior students of the college by visiting the college. They said the college is good. Specially the electrical department is very good. It is having second number after the College of Engineering pune college.
Exam Structure
For the first and the second year students there is online test and also offline test each semester. There are two semesters in one year. Online test has 50 marks and offline had 50. Third and fourth year studemts have insem of 30 marks and endsem 70 marks. Both of them are theroy based.
Admission
For getting admission in for engineering i had filled the form for engineering at the ARC centres which are located at every engineering college. Then i had made a priority wise list of the colleges which i want. Then i got this college.
Faculty
Many faculty members of the college had pursued the PHD's. Others are pursuing the PHD's. All the teachers are very supportive. They do not discriminate between the students. They treat all the students same.
