Course Curriculum Overview

4

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world, and the demand for bilingual professionals is increasing in various industries like healthcare, education, business, and tourism. These aspects will help me in future but most importantly my college's curriculum is also set in very affective way even the teachers are very helpful and they also help us with different topics. If I discuss about difficulty level in Spanish exam all these semesters I get to know that if you study well you can score good in exams specially in language exam. The difficulty level of exam is medium and if you study well it can be easy also.

Placement Experience

4

From 3rd semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements and students will get chance to be a part of a internship throughout the year some companies who have visited in Jesus and Mary college is Wipro Dell and many more. The highest package and average package as per the company and profile I am not sure about it but one of my senior told me that minimum 6 to 8 lakhs per annum package can be witness.

Fees and Financial Aid

I just started my 2nd year in JMC and just paid the fees. The total amount was 21,175 yearly. Tuition fee is 180, University development fee is 1200, lab fee us 400 and other compulsory fees is of medical fee, water and electricity fee, academic association fee etc. My department is of BA Programme Sociology and Spanish and if I compare other departments they also have same fee structure. Mostly importantly people who are struggling financially also get financial aids and concessions.

Campus Life

4

Overall experience of fests and college life is amazing are campus is very beautiful their are not soft places inside the campus where students can chill and have fun Jesus and Mary's main fest is montage it is one of the biggest fest and it's very popular among other colleges too. Jesus and Mary is very technology and very active in sports activities girls are very engaged in sports activities and participate in many tournaments they are many student social groups which are available in Instagram Facebook and LinkedIn students from 1st year onwards start following those groups

Admission

If I discuss about my dream college my dream college was lady Shri Ram but I didn't make it as my schools were very low according to the course I wanted. Then I got shortlisted for Jesus and Mary College admission process was very smooth and easy it was one day process within an hour I was free and from the next day onwards my classes started when I first visited to Jesus and Mary college it was very pretty campus. the eligibility of Jesus and Mary is you have to get our 85% in your c u e t and you have to score well in your 12th board exam. My score in c u e t was 92.8% and I got shortlisted for Jesus and Mary College my course is BA programme in Spanish and sociology.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty and students relationship is very good and less complicated and faculty is more flexible with students and always tries to help their students so that they don't suffer. Every year their are 2 semesters and each semester contains one exam. Exams are very and direct their is no complications regarding curriculum and course. But New education policy is hectic because of extra load of subject which are not even important but still we have to study

Night Life

5

Jesus and Mary college is in South Delhi I will not say Delhi is very safe but the location of Jesus and Mary is very classy and safe there is 24 hours protection near the college inside the college no matter if it is day or night I don't live in hostel I travel from my home only but many of a friend so belong from hostel they mention that after 9 o'clock they can't go out and they have to make their own food and all. There are many hangout places near Jesus and Mary College which are very safe and students mostly enjoy there like digin cafe and most busy location around our college is Satya Niketan where we we can witness many cafes and restrose were mostly students enjoy Jesus and marry is very safe to rome around at night

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
