A candid review of college life

Faculty is really good,they all are Phd scholars or Professors. And as per google reviews and youtube videos, graphic era was popular for Btech CSE , so i opt this course. according to our curriculum, we are getting prepared for GATE exams and as well as to crack all companies.We are giving project under the guidance of faculty allocated, so that can be add it in resume. Rather than studying extra subjects , we're more encouraged to do projects , participate in hackethons and doing more certifite courses. For mid term exams we are given 1:30hr to complete while in end term 3hr are given. Question paper level is average (neither too hard nor too easy).

Cognizant, Accenture offered the role of software developer with a stipend of 30000. deloitte offers 15000 stipend for the role of full stack developer. For getting internship you have to do some projects on whichever field you want to get internship. Skills are important to crack placements.

90% students of BTech CSE get placements easily. 100+ companies visits college for placements. College gives 100% efforts from there side but as we all know placements depends on skills , college can't help in it but they prepare us in such a way so that we can crack any companies placement exam. In 2025 , more than 15 students got placement of 50lpa in microsoft, google , adobe. And more than 30 students got placement of 20lpa. Companies visited in Graphic era are - Amazon,Adobe,Microsoft,Google,TCS,Infosys,Capgemini,Cognizant,IBM,Flipkart,Morgan Stanley and many more. Heighest package offered by amazon was 52lpa and in google 62lpa. i also wanted to be placed in comapnies like microsoft and google.

Our fees gets increased 5% every year. When i opted this college my fees was 350000 but as I'm a girl i got a discount of 10% and if you pay yearly fee you'll get a discount of 5%. So after these discounts my fee was 302000. Boys fees is 412000. Only cse has maximum fees as compared to other department. And college provides 5% discount as a scholarship for 90+ percentage in there 12th.

annual fest is mostly held in end june while technical fests are held in every 2 months. Annual fest is also known as Gra Fest , celebrities used to come in it. technical fests are Hackethon, Grafethon and many more. There are variety of books in libraries. There are 3 libraries in total or maybe more. You can get any book , magazines of your choice . The classrooms have smart board on which teacher teaches, 4 fans , and many windows, 2 doors. The college offers every sport like badminton, cricket,table tennis, football, chess ,etc. Sports tournaments are also held. There are many groups like technical group, dancing/ singing, entertainment group. TBI , Accollade , IEEE are technical groups Rangmach,swaragini,bhangda hub are other groups for entertainment purpose.

There are 3 types of rooms like 1 seater , 2 seater , 3 seater so the prices varies accordinly. every room has bed, study table, bed side table, coupboard and attached bathrooms. rooms on top floor have ACs too. Meal quality is good but repeating the same menu every week is not acceptable. Mostly students who are seniors now don't eat mess's food because they are tired of eating same thing again and again for many years. Registration starts from april and whichever hostel/room you like you can book. there are many PGs , flats available near graphic era hill universit.

I applied in Amity university Noida . That's also good , but even i went there for college tour , i saw couples everywhere. Fees was also too high. And i heard many romours like that's a place for spoiled kids, teachers don't pay attention on students, curriculum is not good . And image of Amity is not good according to my parents. So i didn't wanted to take risk of not getting placed in a good company . So the only option left for me was only Graphic era . Graphic era is best for Btech CSE , so i applied here for my further studies. The environment of Amity University wasn't good means i won't be able to focus on my studies there. Admission process is easy if you have 12th % above 80, you can get admission directly without any struggle. and if lower than 80% then you can't apply here untill and unless you have sources here.

Faculty members are helpful , whenever you want to contact they are always available. I must say they are friendly and they build student's interest in subject. I liked my logic design teaching shibidhiya mam. Her way of teaching is awesome, she build our interest in her subject and also interacts while teaching. I didn't like my maths teacher. He don't make us understand the subject. In every semester we have 2 exams ( mid term and end term) mid terms are easy but end terms are difficult because we have whole syllabus to study. We have theroy exams and practical, in which practicals are tough because we mostly get fails in practicals

As what i got to know from seniors is GD topics were related to current affairs ,economics, social issues and many more. Interview questions depends on company like in Infosys they ask basic level questions related to c , c++, java (example- what is call by value and call by reference in c language) but in amazon , microsoft, google questions level is high. Admission criteria is 80% above in 12th. In our college ,placement classes are held so students get prepared there .

Night life is boring. Like you can't visit / roam in campus after 9pm. And outside the campus you're not allowed to roam after 11pm due to night curfew. there are 2 gyms in campus , 1 inside hostel and more above college's cafeteria. There are 3 cafeterias in college and besides it there are 3 small canteens. Library is a good place to study and find peace , it closes at 8pm Hostilers are not allowed to enter inside the campus after 8pm but can roam in campus till 9pm. hangout places are campus garden which is really beautiful and other one in happiness hut cafeteria which is besides administrative block. Outside the campus there are many places like Buddha temple and many cafes like chai sutta bar, kimchi, bluedoor resturant.
