UPES management college

No negative remarks. Positive are that they provide healthy atmosphere for studies as well as overall development of students. The infrastructure of the college is also very good and the place at which the college is situated is mesmerizing.

The course curriculum in this college is moderately updated curriculum is revised every year as per the UGC. But as far as i feel that the case study which are being taught in the curriculum are bit out dated so their solutions are also quite outdated which i personal feels is a negative remark.

Yes, UPES provides SIP( Summer internship) as a compulsory for every student in MBA, every student need to have atleast 2 month of internship in the beginning of third semester. There are many companies which provide stipend of an average of 10K per month but there are companies who don't provide stipend as well.

UPES provides full opportunity to every student to be allowed to sit in placement drives. They also provide separate PDP( personal development classes) in order that the Student get maximum out of themselves and perform well in placement and in organisations after job

UPES is known for its events they organise many events on regular basis recently they have introduced a concept of wow Wednesday at which every Wednesday there is some short of programs among college students. Also URJA and IGNITE are two of its main events.

As far as I consider the fee structure is at high end. The fee structure is very expensive for MBA per semester fees is about 325K which is very expensive as compared to other colleges. For an average family it is not an easy task to afford the fees.

There is a scholarship offered by the college but only to the top 5 students who have scored highest marks in the entrance exam of UPES MET or by any other MBA entrance exam. Also they provide good loan facility for the students by almost all the famous banks.

As far as extra curricular activities are considered it is very good college they regularly have events of sports an other extra curricular activities. Students can enhance their skills and college provides full support to it.

Hostel infrastructure and facilities is not so good at the price range what they are offering is very much expensive. Instead of college hostels oxfordcaps hostel are much better to live in. The facility and food at hostel is not soo good.

Yes the alumni network is very strong in this college they have a regular alumni meet as well to promote the interaction between seniors and current students. Also the senior at their end are very helpful they provide their best of knowledge and experience to their junior.

At UPES they have a separate body for conducting exam which is called SRE. The SRE is responsible for all the activities in related to the examination. At MBA there is only one end semester exam and at graduation level they have mid semester as well as end semester exams. Passing criteria is 40% individually i.e, 50 marks e?from exam and 50 from internal evaluation.

There are basically three rounds to qualify for the admission in this College. 1. Entrance exam: A entrance exam in conducted at the first level. They don't show the actual marks after exam but only tell about the qualifying it or not. 2. At second step we have a group discussion round of around 15-20 people at a time. 3. At third step and final one there is a personal one to one interview.

The faculty in UPES is one of the best faculty as far as I consider the faculty here is having a great experience in industry as well as teaching some of the faculty here just don't teach in the class but are always ready to teach after the class or even after students get pass out. Also the nature of faculty is also quite helpful.
