Likes
- The faculties are super helpful, they helps students to clear their doubts , they are polite and very friendly.
- College campus is also not bad, decorated well , hygine is maintained and lots of space.
- Library is big enough space to read books, placement support is also good.
Dislikes
- There is no canteen we have to bring food from outside
- There is no play ground but indoor games can be played
- The roads outside the college is not good , the reconstruction process is going on.
Course Curriculum Overview
-> There are core CSE subjects like CN, OS, DBMS whick influenced me a lot. -> This courses makes us able to prepare for interviews and also solve real world problems. -> The couse syllabus should be restructred because with time technology changes a lot. -> Exam comes after each 6 months and of moderate difficulty level.
Fees and Financial Aid
-> The year wise fees I paid was approximately 1.12 L -> Registration Fees were 1200/- per semester , 5000/- rs one time for college uniform -> Students can apply for SVMCM scholarship if they are elegible, to get a amount of 60000 per year.
Campus Life
-> Our annual tech fest is PARIDHI which happens in MARCH-MAY. -> All requird books are there in library. -> Classrooms are very spacious and clean , everyone can concentrate on studies. -> There are MSL and MCL happens in our college , though we do not have our own play ground cricket and soccer leauge is organized by our college,where everyone can participate. -> There is MEGATRONIX, RCC-MSIT, GDSC in our college. Creates very good environment for learning things not in text books.
Admission
-> I have applied in Techno Main Saltlake for CSE. -> In the second round of WBJEE counselling , I have got alloted to MSIT. -> No I did not get rejection, As in the second round I have got MSIT , I have not taken the risk for 3rd and final round and chosen MSIT as my college. -> Admission process is very simple , you have to get a cutoff marks in WBJEE then you can apply for the college and rest will be taken care of by the admission cell.
Faculty
-> The faculty student ratio is 1:30. The faculties are super helpful and knowledgeable. -> Jayanta Sir is very knowledgeable and helpful also our HOD sir is very good. -> I like every faculty -> There are total 8 exams in 4 years , they are moderate in difficulty level
Night Life
-> College is fully closed after 6:00 PM. -> Hostel and Campus are separate and they are not under the college. -> Some hangount places are there like , Jhil par and masir chayer dokan but not inside the campus.
