College review

The college is a very good value for money package. They provide quality education in feasible prices and also try their best to provide all facilities in the college. Placements especially for CSE are good and most of the students from other branches get placed as well

The course curriculum is mostly same as that taught in most of the major Universities of India. As the college is affiliated to UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY hence timely exams are conducted along with various other colleges that are affiliated to UTU.

No there is no such thing as internship in the college. However based on your 12th score or your JEE score you can obtain a scholarship varying between 10-50%.The college emphasizes on good academic performance and rewards accordingly.

There are ample job opportunities in the college. The college conductes open pool campus drives where students from various other colleges can also come and participate in the placement drives. Companies visit the campus regularly and provide ample of job opportunities for all branches

1 Sports meet It is conducted in the month of March every year for 2-3 days. Here students and teachers get along to play various outdoor as well as indoor sports. The winners are rewarded. 2 Tech Fest : The tech Fest of the college is called srijan and I'd held every year in the month of April. This is the most happening time of the year where you get to play various games conducted by the departments and try your brain. Also you can showcase your projects which are judged by professors from IIT Roorkee. You can take part in various cultural programmes,skits,dances etc. Then there are celebrities who perform. 3 Also all the days of national importance are enjoyed enthusiastically throughout the year

The fee structure is very feasible in the college. During my time it costed around 1.5lpa including accomodations,food and laundry. If you don't not want to live in the hostel your expenses may further decrease or increase based on your lifestyle

About scholarship yes the college provides scholarship based on your 12th marks or your JEE score which is variable depending on your score. Also the college helps in providing loans if you are interested. They make you talk to the banks which allows in easy transactions and less hustle for you.

There are ample amounts of labs with proper equipments and setup. Emphasis is laid on practical knowledge along with theory. You can play all sports outdoor and indoor. There is a football ground. A basketball court and a volleyball court. Also there is a gym.Various activities are conducted throughout the year including blood donations,Swachh Bharat abhiyan, Yoga day etc

Hostel infrastructure is quite good and there are all the major facilities available in the hostel itself. There are separate hostel for Juniors and seniors. Mess is very close to the hostel. Also there is a canteen where you can chill.

The alumni network is not very strong but yes some alumni stay in touch with the college. Seniors are quite helpful and try their best to make you comfortable.They provide notes and tips and tricks to pass the exams.

End term exams or externals as they are called are conducted half yearly. Along with that 2 internals are also conducted per semester and the aggregate of all the exams in various proportions leads to your end result. Exams are conducted strictly and no nuisance is tolerated

Mostly admissions are based on the centralized counseling conducted by the UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY. You need to fill the form of the counseling and once the result is out you can take admission. Also based on your 12th score you can get a direct admission.

The faculty of the college is friendly and experienced. They are helpful towards students and try to make sure that you receive ample knowledge of the subject. Also some faculties stay within the college premises and therefore can be contacted anytime in case of an emergency.
