Course Curriculum Overview
Because I have a interest in civil and thats why I choose it Yeah curriculum prepares us for the real world application as we know to make bridges and building and their design and other stuff The teaching methids need to be improved they are very poor we hardly understand anything in class The frequency of exam is like we have exams after every 1 to 1.5 months
Internships Opportunities
Companies like TCS offers internships as a coder and data analyst it offers student of about 40-50 thousand per month and other companies like Google offers internships as a coder offers almost same stipend There are group projects that we have to submit And there are many outcomes such as personal growth , speaking skills improvements after performing projects
Placement Experience
From 7 semester students are eligible for placements There are many companies which visits our college such as Amazon , HCl , oracle , Wipro , Goldman Sachs etc The highest package this year about 80 lakhs and the average package is about 12 lakhs The placements percentage is good almost 80% of total ug students get placed My plans after getting a degree is to get a job
Fees and Financial Aid
As we talk about my 1 year 1 semester fees It is divided into 3 categories for general / ews/obc-ncl 1. Students having family income less than 1 lakh They have to pay 0 rupees tuition fees+ 38000 for hostel and other facilities along with 22500 mess fees mandatory for all categories students no rebate 2 students having their family income between 1 to 5 lakh they get one third tuition fees rebate and they have to pay 20833 tuition fees and 38000 other hostel and facilities fees along with 22500 mess fees 3 students having their family income more than 5 lakh they have to 62500 tuition fees + 40000 hostel and other facility fees + 22500 mess fees As my room mate belongs to SC category het get full 100,% rebate on tuition fees his fees structure is same that of income under 1 lakh students
Campus Life
The campus life is too good it is not much connected to city but it is good There are many good book available in the library related to all course that this college offers The classroom facilities are not good there is no projector in our classrooms Sports and extracurricular activities are good in this college you can a get to go inter NIT if you do well There are many clubs and social groups such as NCC,NSS,gyansagar and aaveg dance club and codeforces coding club etc
Hostel Facilities
There is two seater room with 2 bed 2 almirah 2 study table 2 chairs and 1 balcony Meal quality is not good and menu is irrelevant The hostel is quite affordable and registration process is done on first day itself I don't know about locality
Admission
Because I the first reason is due to my rank the best college I get at my rank is this one and also liked it's infrastructure and facilities and campus life and placements and placements are too good here and average placements are also good
Faculty
Every faculty gets almost 2 to 3 ug classes so the faculty and students ratio is good I don't like the maths faculty Mr BHS Raju sir because he is too rude I like mechanics faculty because he teaches us well There are lab exams, endsem ,midsem,minor they are moderate nearly 10 students fail to clear exams
Night Life
There is one gym and one cafe inside the campus but there are many canteens and tea points are there The boys hostel gate closing is About 9 pm because due to ragging problems for first year students The famous hangouts places are teapoints and cafes and Gymkhana park
