Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well for the course it's CBCS and yes we are the first batch to take up that course. It was back in 2015 that new course / syllabus came out. Well to Be truthful it was kinda hard as all the seniors can't able to help and we struggle for a bit as it's a new syllabus. And yet I took BA (prog) it went crazy for some weeks and after that with our friends we started to catch up the syllabus. Well it turn out to be a quite interesting subject.

Internships Opportunities

I got no idea about those

Placement Experience

4

No idea about that too., it's the best you join the college and ask about those to principal and fucalties member thank you. But wait I have a job for you that is to stay away from me and never send me the notification or email. I hate reviewing this things. I have a lot of studies to do thank you.

College Events

4

That's interesting, yeahhhhhh celebration of course everyone wants to celebrate whether it is big or small celebration. And in our college we have that a lot many events like internship with the fucalties members and have lot of interesting topics on, college festival has a lot of joy and peace of mind as it bring out the youths together is unity.

Fee Structure And Facilities

About the fee structure for me it's quite fine but for some others its kinda above average as its above 11k not for all but there are poor people who can't effort. But well its for educational so no complaints about that.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont came across any of that but wait there is one thing I know for sure you can withdraw your admission money after a year with a form given from the principle office but you have to be cunning as a fox. It's first come first get.

Campus Life

4

Ohh yeah sports day. Hmmmmm I scored an amazing goal in the du tournament for soccer. But sadly we loss. Our college has got many sport clubs like volley, football, cricket and of course badminton. It gives the joy even to play in the scorching heat with the strength to play its fun though I miss those days.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Well Rajdhani don't have a hostel and they are doing there best by this year and it will be very close to the college so no worries. As I have join in this program I can say that infrastructure will be excellent and the facilities dammm don't even think about it. Its going to be the best hostel in all the west campus. Including privacy, library, sports and games etc.

Alumni/Alumna

As I have commented on above questions of course yes they are the pillar and they are very helpful. They were there whenever we needed them and in return they don't ask for anything so go on ask for help whenever you are in doubt. So that makes you clear.

Exam Structure

Well about the exam it is the same with all the universities in Du as they manage everything from setting of questions pattern and the checking of papers or for all the other things like revualation and others things. Exam are all the same in all the college of DU.

Admission

Well I could not remember everything now but I can say during my time it was not online process. For starting my admission I took an offline form which I have to submit in the office. After that I have waited for my cutoff as my p.c is not that good 69.5 but then its above average though as it was best of four I got around 74. 2 I got the admission in the 4th cutoff. As the details was done by the faculties member as we only need to pay the fees and submit the documents needed. That's all for the admission is not that hard. As for the newbies for the admission seniors are there to help you out as they stay in the help desk near the office anyone can clears the doubt from them.

Faculty

3.5

About the faculty in Rajdhani college. Well it helps me a lot during my first year as I have to go up and down asking for help from the faculty member as I have to change my subject or whether is a form to be submitted they help out quite a while and it was a peace of mind having great faculty at the difficulties of time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
