Dislikes
- Toos trict and silly rules for girls...the girls are not allowed to go out even during weekends. They are allowed only for 1 and half an hour every Sunday.
- No non veg and the even the vegetarian food really sucks.hard to be hosteller
- A little stressful life because before midterm they go a bit slow but after midterm they go very swiftly which becomes a headache as we will be having so many submissions dead lines and semester exams at the same time
Course Curriculum Overview
The first year curriculum is not same for everyone. Every course has their own curriculum. This is very useful. As I belong to cse background, I am learning most of the languages in the beginning itself so I will be having more time in my 3rd and 4th years to do a project, internship and as well as prepare for placements. We have continuous evaluation so weekly we have one or two small class tests and quizs that are considered for internals.
Placement Experience
Form 3rd year we are eligible for placements. Every year we get somany companies and so may students get placed with ana average package of 12 lakhs. Highest package might be around 48 and 50 lakhs. Last year 80 percent of students got placed. I am thinking of studying MBA for good experience and a degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 600000 per year without any scholarship. But we can avail scholarships by writing entrance exam which is AEEE. I got slab 2 so now my fee is 275000 per year. Slab 1 is 150000 and the 3rd slab is 400000. The hostel fee is 80000 so my fee is approx 3,50,000 per year right now. If I get less than 7.5 cgpa. My slab will be reduced to 3rd and further.
Campus Life
To join clubs we need to crack their tasks and interviews which is typically very hard untill unless you are a avery bright student. The technology and facilities are pretty good. The sports are good but not everyone can participate in such kind of fields. As girls are not allowed out of hostel after 5:30 until unless you are a club member. The swimming pool is very far from hostels and gym has a good equipment but not a very good trainer. Every other clubs are really nice . But art club is missing.library is very good but a little small and infra structure is average . There are very less fests
Hostel Facilities
Meal quality sucks as they provide us same dal and sambar and some rice papad picle every day. In the night we have chapati and aloo or meal maker corry every other day. Registration process wen mt smoothly. We are provided a bed a cot , bucket, mug, hangers, clips, and desks and rackers for which we have to pay around 5000. We have to clean our own rooms and washrooms and wash our own clothes. No washing machines or dryers.
Admission
I wrote mains and qualified for advance but couldn't get into it. I got many EAMCET colleges both in Telangana and Andhra pradesh. But I needed exposure so I came here. I also got seat in IISER TIRUPATI in eee but I like cse more so I opted for this
Faculty
In my class , out of 66 , 6 students have arrears in semester 1. I got 8.6 cgpa in sem 1. The faculty to student ratio is not bad and faculty are mostly friendly if you have doubts. Almost everyone are approachable for doubts except one or two. I like my linear Algebra Mam. Her name is Manju.BR . She teaches very well
Night Life
There is no night life for girls as we are not allowed out of the hostels after 5:30 pm. Even if we are in the clg we are not allowed to go anywhere far like 4 km. If it is in campus the lovers park, the mini and large canteens, benches near the garden are the only hangout spots during day time
