Remarks

I both love and hate my college at the same time. It really depends on the mood. If you look in a way that we don't have to do assignments a lot or projects or maybe taking many leaves, then it is good. Moreover you also get to enjoy quality time with your friends in college or going for an Techfest in other colleges. If you look at negative side like the teachers aren't that good or maybe they should focus more on practical than theoretical then its bad. Because of being on rural side we are missing exposure too therefore the private reputed companies don't come to our college

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is quite good and divided properly throughout the four years. Each year is comprised of two semesters. At the start of first year all the guys of an branch has to learn all the subjects of his branch and others branch. I found it quite stupid and hopefully government changed some rules last year so it’s been quite fun for first year students.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provides internship opportunities but that is only from one or two companies like TCS and BSNL. Doing internships in these companies is a total waste of time. No these companies don’t provide us stipend and the experience in these companies will be regretted by us in the future. So therefore we have to find ourselves good internships from LinkedIn or Internshala for us.

Placement Experience

1

The placements and job opportunities in our college are down to 0. Yah, the companies like TCS and Wipro come to our colleges but their main objective is for mass recruitment. They provide a package of only 2-3 lpa which is not sufficient for anyone. Rest other companies like BEL comes for only SC/ST and Adobe basically comes for only girls to get Male and Female ratio equal in their workspace

College Events

4.5

In every year of our college we have two semesters. In our first semester we have sports events for three days. There are also 50 marks for G.P. because of this. In the second semester we have cultural and tech fest together for 5 days i.e. first two for tech and rest three for cultural. Literary events also happen before the five day fest. These all events are what makes the college alive.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure in our college is quite good but it even was better for our seniors. Every semester including hostel, admission and rest other things is upto 45000 which is quite feasible especially for my parents who also have a daughter doing medical. Even if we go to an event in different college our college provides us fund for that from TEQIP

Fees and Financial Aid

No there aren’t any loan facilities provided by our college but there are some good scholarship like if you come in top five in your branch you get Rs 5000. Moreover if you have under one lakh rank in JEE mains and also if your family income is under 1.5 lakh per annum you get an laptop and an amount of Rs 80000 per year. Moreover there are some scholarship for Kashmiri migrant too which i don’t know about.

Campus Life

2.5

The extracurricular activities are available in our college which are okay. We don’t have even have a proper single ground in our college. Moreover to play basketball we have to go so far from college. Rest aside everything is quite good. Labs are well equipped with instruments. There are lab faculty members which guide us a lot.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel infrastructure and facilities in college is just okay but it becomes worse sometimes because our college is located in village side. The quality of food isn’t good in first year but it has become better after the visit of SDM in our college.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the only best thing about this college. We had a lot of interaction with our seniors in our college especially in my first year. They teach us many things which teacher's aren't able to. They guide and motivate us a lot. We also have a great alumni network which helps us a lot when time of need.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is quite easy to understand in our college. We have first have two CT’s of 15 marks every semester. If by chance we missed any one of them we can give CT 3. In between we have 50 marks of G.P. for participating in cultural of technical fests. At the end of semester we have exams for five subjects out of 100. After exams we have our practical too in which 25 marks are in hands of teacher for lab files and one lab test and rest other 25 for practical. We also have another 20 marks in hands of teachers for theoretical subjects.

Admission

I myself am a dropper so i gave my JEE examination in 2016. I secured 92,946 rank. I belong to Uttarakhand state where they have some seats reserved for Uttarakhand students in govt. College. We first had to fill a online form for counselling. I couldn’t get my college in first and second round. So i had to rely on spot counselling. In this we had to go college and wait for a day for list. After that we are given the choice for seat and hence i was the first person to get a seat in college from Uttarakhand reservation in CSE

Faculty

2.5

The faculty in our Computer Science department is not quite upto the mark. Some faculties with no good academics records in their life have become permanent in our department. They are the ones who teach us important subjects and are ruining life of students. The temporary teachers are the ones who give their time and effort to students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
