- The professors are very good and friendly in nature.They will help you in every way possible.
- The facilities are so so but college tries their best to provide all the equipment and everything.

- The facilities are not upto the mark but the fees make up for that.
- The college ground is not too big like nits or iiits or so but you will enjoy.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college course curriculum is good but there are few aspects of improvement such as removal of few subjects like biology, environmental science, chemestry,bee,etc for computer science department as we don't need that. Since this curriculum is followed by allmost all the colleges of engineering in India that's why we can't blame any particulars but If some improvement can be done then that will be awesome.
Internships Opportunities
T.C.S,PCS Cognizant.etc are various companies that gives internship with stipend between 20k to 50k according to the students capabilities with roles of intern software engineer or web developer according to the students knowledge and skills.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements after 3rd year.A no of companies like T.C.S, Cognizant,PCS etc visited this year and 100 percent placement was offered each student got placement specially from cse branch as I am cse student.You can go for higher studies if you want but you can opt for placements here.The average package was 6 lpa and highest was 30 lpa lowest was 4 lpa for this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is almost 536000 where after getting through wbjee, we will have to pay 90000 upfront for the 1st semester including and then 63,750 from each semester upto 8th.The college fees is almost constant and doesn't change but depending on the year and policy it may change after few years.
Campus Life
My College life was awesome and It got good friends who always support me in every situation.My teachers also help me a lot in every situations.We have many fest including cultural fest(dhun) and tech fest(shrey) each year.We also have fairwell for the seniors and freshers for juniors each year.
Admission
See,I didn't get good percentile in jee advance and so I choose to give wbjee exam to get a seat in engineering colleges and I got a rank of almost 17k where I got cse department in 2nd phase of wbjee counciling.I choose St Thomas College of Engineering and Technology because the fees is very low compare to other colleges as I don't get jadavpur university or any other top in that rank and I am very happy from my decision because of you need a college that gives placement and fees is not too high .This college is best for that.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good and they are very helpful in nature.They are good professor who teach each and every student carefully and will focus on each people. Each semester there are 6 exams including semester final exam and practical exams 1st exam-CA1 (very easy just create the ppt) 2nd exam-CA2( VERY EASY JUST CREATE THE REPORT) 3rd exam -CA3(tough if you don't study it's a hand written exam) 4th exam-CA4(little bit tough all mcqs ) 5th final semester exam There are 2 pca (practical assessment exam) in between and then after final semester we have final practical exam. Each exam marks are added into the final marks
Interview Experience
No We don't face any kind of gd or interview for the admission.The only process to get admission is by giving webjee exam and getting a rank for the qualification of various branches.We get in through councelling of wbjee that occurs after 1 month of exam .
Night Life
We do have gyms and canteens for food where all of us hangout with each other.The food in canteen is good .We have number of hangout spots in and out college.Inside college we have ground where we all sit and play games.We have Alipore zoo, library, musium etc arround the college.
