Likes

The college has a large campus area and very good infrastructure.
The classrooms in the college have air conditioners which is very helpful during summers
The college has a great infrastructure for sports and also it has a lot of opportunities for students interested in sports.

Dislikes

The classrooms are little bit old requires renovation
It has not currently available the facility of boys hostel.
The canteen is not so hygienic which is a necessity.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very well associated with the financial world. I am also pursuing CA which motivates me to pursue this course. The course is detailed, comprehensive and easy to understand. It is not tough to score a good score in this course.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of colleges are good. It has about 100 percent placement rate. The average package is around 900000 per annum. Companies like Accenture, JSW, De Shaw, Nation with Namo etc provide job and internship opportunities. Nation with Namo offers a 2 month internship of rs 100000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fees is 25000. Second, Third and final year fees ranges between 25000-25500. The fourth year is optional to do. College provide scholarships to financially weaker students and refund their fees. Apart from this many other companies provide scholarship to students of different categories.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good. The college has a large number of societies like Hindu Consulting Group, Enactus, 180 DC, Finance and Investment Cell which provides a large number of extracurricular activities and internship opportunities to students.

Admission

I have applied for Sri Ram College of Commerce over it but I couldn't met the cut off of the college. I choose this college after SRCC as it is the second highest ranked college after SRCC for B.com(Hons). You are required to give CUET- UG exam to get admission in the college and score well.

Faculty

The college has a faculty to student ratio of 1:50. The faculty members in professionals holding high educational degrees in their respective fields from top ranked institutes. The curriculum is as per the New Education Policy in which there are three domain subjects and four optional subjects which students can choose as per their choice.

Night Life

The night life around the campus area is amazing . There is famous Sudama Tea Stall and Tom Uncle Maggie Point nearby. Also it has clean walk around road from where we can see the colleges of the University Enclave.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Strong academics, vibrant fests and supportive campus life at Hindu College

Hindu College was chosen over other options mainly because it is one of the top DU colleges for science and mathematics, with a strong academic reputation, good placements and still affordable government?college fees. While filling CUET preferences, colleges like Ramjas and Kirori Mal were also considered, but Hindu offered a better mix of campus environment, societies and B.Sc Maths reputation, so it was kept higher in the preference list. Admission is completely through CUET and the DU CSAS portal now; after the CUET result, course–college preferences are filled online, and seats are allotted in several rounds based on score, category and seat availability. The process is transparent and mostly online, but cut?offs for Hindu are very high, so a strong CUET score is necessary, especially for Maths Hons and popular courses. College life at Hindu College

The admission process in Hindu College is through CUET entrance exam. But there are certain reservations and quotas for different eligible candidates. These include reservations for SC,ST and OBC, Sports Quota, ECA quota and others. I came to this college through sports quota which required a sports trial apart from the CUET examination. Inside Hindu College : Beyond NIRF 1

Apart from Hindu College, i applied for a admission in Chemistry hons course at Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University and I got the confirmed admissions in both but I chose Hindu College over others bcz of its reputation, NIRF topper(NIRF 1 all over India),etc. No, I didn't get any rejection from any college i applied for.
