Course Curriculum Overview

3

This is the only good government college in uttrakhand to persue betch. the vollege has very bad curriculum students used to prepare for higher studies exam or other compitative exams. There are no good events for btech students the college is totally agri based its good to persue bsc agriculture from here. college is located in village area and college is iteslf a village. There is no transport facilty in pantnagar students have to visit lal kuan or rudrapur for trains and buses. Also exam are held almost every month the difficulty is quite moderate you can not score good by studying one night before exam you have to be consisitent with studies also the maximum cgpa goes upto 8.5 the average cgpa is 6.5 Teachers did very strict marking.

Placement Experience

2

If you are hoping for on campus placement here this is not your college. Campus placemnets are very minimal only 6 to 7 students got placed on 4-5 lpa packages. Top recuirting companies like TCS, accenture, Byjuys, LNT, ITC etc visit college to hire students. students got off campus placed and generally prepare for higher exams like GATE,CAT ,SSC CGL etc. the highest packge last year was 12 lakh off camous from a electronics and communication branch and lowest package goes upto 2 - 2.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees is is quite decent, the total tution fess including lab, library and medical fee etc for the first year btech is 65000 and hostel fee including mess is 4000 per year othe than this students have to pay 2000 counselling fee before that and then 10000 fess for acceptiong the seat which are paid online during the counselling. if you get the TFW (tution fee waiver) seat during the counselling then the fees must be quite low for you also there are schlorships option for OBC, SC and ST categories provided by college students can apply for them too.

Campus Life

3

The campus like is very bad especially for girls everytime they have to go home they need to signed a form with too many paper work. also the hostel timing is 6 pm for girls. hostels are good in conditions having a proper cleanliness, food and wifi facility. The only tech fest here is coloseum which is good though last time they invited ankit tiwari to perform but at the same time there is no good society to enhnace soft skills of the students. the class rooms conditon are good having projectors and boards ther are no AC facilty. there is huge stadium infront of boys hostel named a stevenson stadium which a very well furnished and properly managed.

Hostel Facilities

4

The girls hostel is quite well maitained and well furnished including cleanliness and good food with 4 meals in a day. also non veg is provided here having wifi facility but boys hostel condition is not good though having broke doors and windows with no hygine and very non hyginic food. double sharing rooms are provided to girls till 4th year whereas for boys triple sharing rooms are provied to boys in first year, double sharing in 2 year and single room in 3rd and 4th year. there is no facilty of pg here. menu is decided by students itself. the hostel fees is 40000 per year

Admission

This is the only good government college and last option in uttarakhand to peruse btech so if you are from uttarakhand this is the only college you get at a very decent rank also this is the very big university so you will meet very big personalities and also a great place to develop your personality. I gave apllied many other delhi ncr colleges like sharda , amity but they are charging very high fees and the placement are also not that much good according to fees so it is better to get your degree at low fees and use extra money to learn other things or prepare for off campus placements because at the end almost college gave just degree not placements.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very good. All the teachers are Phd graduate or IIT graduate having experience of more than 20 years. The faculty of electrical and electronics departments is quite better and interactive than the other departments having one to one intraction with students but at the same time ther are very strict lots of students have to repeat the course you have to be consistent to score good. The passing marks is 50. Exam are conduct in three steps having 2 internal of 25 marks and final exam of 50 marks also the 85 percent is strictly mandatory for all. 85 maens 85 no medical is accepted here you have to be present in class otherwise you have to repeat the course. the exams are moderate you can pass only if you are consistent. Dont come to this college until and unless this is the last option and if you are persuing btech from here i will prefer to choose electrical or electronics rather the Computer engineering and information technology because they have very bad faculty.

Night Life

1

There is no night life for girls in this college, no night canteen. Girls are not allowed to go out after 6 pm whereas boys hostel timimg is 10 pm there are no street light on roads. classes are from morning 9 am to 5 pm having a very hectic schdule. If you want to hangout with your friends this is not tha place for you ,the college is itself a village. you can go to rudrapur and haldwani for a trip with your friends. There is choti and badi market you can visit for you needs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.
