Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is really practical it has maths which is very important in todays world you get to study statistics which is very important and great it has both theoretical and practical knowledge which you can use. It is really great and you get to use it for your competitive exams as well. The classes should be more and the course exams should be less. the difficulty should be reduced and free resources should be available online for students. the exams have proper gaps between them for you to study

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many internships offered by your college and basically they provide stipend there and unpaid as well. You have a ngos You can participate in them as well and and stipend around 5000 to 10,000. I have not participated in any of the internships offered by my college right now, but I have applied of the campus through Internshala and through glass store and you get it initially internships. My friends have applied in the NGOs which they run selfless Seva and you can easily get good stipend from them as well and if you want to open your own NGOs and something like that, you can do it as well.

Placement Experience

3

From third year you are eligible for campus placements like from fifth year onwards and the companies visit it's our lens cart, FNP Zomato and many more and the average package is around 5 to 6 LPA and the highest package is around 12,00,00 which is not very great and you'll need to score really good CGPA so that you get to sit in the placement Around 70 to 80% of the people get placed through a college placement. My plan is to go for competitive exams like Cat. I will try to give all other competitive exams as well. And maybe I will try doing some jobs as well through my college placements only.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 13250 in the first year of my college as an EWS student, and in second year i have paid 14800 and next year i will be paying 15250. The difference between Ews and General category fees is not that different, the difference is around 200-400 only. The college fees is increasing at the rate of 500-1000 each year. The fees differs for each category. As far as i know the scholarships are provided for category student like if you are single girl child or you have any quota or something like that you will get the fees reimbursed. There is no scholarship on the merit based.

Campus Life

4

The annual cultural fest of my colleges for loss which is held every year around the month of February and March. This year Amit Prakash Mishra came as an artist and last year. There was no one because of the year student union. This year student union was pretty good and we are today bombarding first it was really great and we had a lots of fun. And libraries of three floors. There are multiple of books and you have will have wide accessibility of books and journals. You can issue books through your library card and the library also has free Wi-Fi system and computer so that you can access the network. You have computer room as well. Talking about the sports and extra curricular activities you have sports event on the sports day and which other societies also join and take part another college students also come. Does there are many societies clubs which are run by the students like enactus, asar entrepreneurship cell. We also have nupur the classical dance Society of Of our college and enigma the western dance Society of R college for their music societies as well and they you can apply for them and it's pretty pretty easy to get into that. We also have a lakshay the theatre Society, Placement cell and many more you get to interact. If you participate into the society. You have a strong networking and you can build your CV accordingly.

Admission

I applied for other colleges but I got it in my first round of CUET and since I got my preferred course over all the other courses I choose it and it was also girls College with made me more comfortable as I had to shift from other town. No, I didn't got rejected from any other college but I selected this college only in my first preference I didn't upgraded to for any other course because I had applied for other courses as well in my above preferences but I my first preference was eco hns and i wanted that so I chose this college and course matters at the end. The admission process of my college is through cuet you will have to give this exam and then you'll have to fill the form for du. The eligibility criteria is like you need to score like a good marks in CUET. The cut-off is like around 700 for my course out of 800 and it is one of the most difficult courses in DU for which you will have to score really good like in top colleges of DU that cut-off is around 800 out of 800

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 7 on 150 which is pretty good and the faculty is very friendly and approachable you can seek help from them and surely they will help you. My one of the teachers ajay sir and preti mam they were really good and once i had to go home because of my medical reason they helped me out and they will provide assistance to you whenever you approach them. After each sem you have exams end sem which every sub is of 90 marks exams are conducted in month of december and may . my course is pretty difficult , one or two students in their second or third year may get their back in subjects. but the course is really good and you get placement

Night Life

1

We have gym in our campus which costs ?300 per month for us. We have canteen and Nescafe and it closes at an evening like there like there is no night life for our college, its girls College and basically you have another girls College near you which is the Gargi College and we don't have any hostel accommodation provided by the college there is no places to hang out which is the worst part of our college Life. In South campus. There is Satya Niketan where the top colleges of South campus I located and there is night life which will get to pop into Care fees and many more and you'll find people of your age but near Kamla Nehru College. It is a residential area so it's completely and there is no caffeine no nothing to eat around and to hope around. It's just boring

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
