- The canteen is very nice and affordable and even the staff is kind
- Our campus is full of greenery so it gives a nice aesthetic vibe
- As it’s a girls college it’s a safe space for girls

- Sometimes the washrooms are not cleaned and some are locked
- The classroom size is too small to accommodate large class size
- We have very limited sports options to choose
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a keen interest in political science in my 12th class which mainly influenced my decision to choose this course but in my opinion I don't find it interesting in college anymore, the course is very theoretical and even the teaching method is so boring teachers just read from the material and leave the class
Internships Opportunities
As I first year student I dont have much idea about the internship opportunities available but our placement cell is very active and big companies like KPMG and ey provide internships or placements here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for 1 year is ?14150 (everything included) for my course that is B.A hons political science hons. As I am a first year student I have no idea that it will increase or not. Other courses that require lab might charge more fees but not the case for my course.
Campus Life
The campus is nice except the furniture from some classes. Although its a small college but ofcourse we cant expect delhi university colleges to be large scaled. The auditorium doesn't have AC which makes it difficult in summers. For social life it was difficult in the first 3-4 months and eventually found friends and now im comfortable with them.
Admission
I applied to br ambedkar and symbiosis and got accepted to both but symbiosis was too expensive and out of station and fir br ambedkar the reviews were not nice and Kamala nehru was my last option also it comes under delhi university and had a good name so I went with it
Faculty
The faculty members are okay but can be rude sometimes and also for the faculty of political science they are a little strict towards attendance. And I absolutely love the economics faculty. For the course structure we have three core papers (dsc) every semester which are mandatory for eveyone. We have no mid sems like other colleges or universities but we have IA (internal assessment) and CA (continuous assessment) which is the same for every delhi university student.
Night Life
We have a very nice library with 2 floors although the wifi connection there sucks. Gym doesn't have much equipments so would not recommend joining the college gym. The area around college is very nice and we have mang hangout places like hauz khas, safdarjung, saket and many more. Kamala Nehru doesn't provide hostel so there's no night life.
