Course Curriculum Overview
The course that I'm pursuing is sociology. The subject is overally good but it doesn't have much scope for further economic gains. The exams are conducted every six months that is each semester. The difficulty levels of the exam varies from time to time.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are good in my college with company like dell and others coming to intern students. Our college also collaborates with many NGO'S that give internship opportunities to the students.
Placement Experience
Placement drives take place in my college from time to time but the issue is these are beneficial only for the students pursuing subjects from commerce background as the company that come usually looked for students form busin perspective.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees of my college is Rs13500 excluding the examination fees of Rs 2000 which is collected from the students one month before the commencement of the exam. The students belonging to categories such as SC and ST are give leverage in their fee payments. The students have to fill in their categories they belong to in the cuet application form only and according to that they are given the due benefits. The students belonging to economically weaker section are also given scholarships from the college.
Campus Life
I would say that my overall experience in this campaign have been good. Taking into consideration the fests, the facilities and infrastructure. This Coll has given me some core memories that are going to stay with me forever.
Admission
I didn't have any option but to opt for this college because of the selection criteria of the cuet under graduation paper. I wanted to go for other High level colleges of DU but had to be satisfied with this because of the marks I gained in my entrance exam. Category also plays a very important role in the selection process.
Faculty
I would rate the faculty members of my department in my college as average. The main problem with them is that they give much importance to academics of the students leaving no space for them to grow creatively.
Night Life
I would say the immediate surrounding of college is much safer in night that the residential area that is location nearby where the students live. The hostel is also situated in a very safe place. There is also abundant hangout places for the students near my college.
