- The teachers cancel classes whenever they want
- Some teachers are very rude to the students and don't take assessments
- Sometimes there's hooliganism by the students
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to be an economist that's why I chose this course, and to be honest it's going pretty well, I've chosen my extracurriculars according to my interests and I love my college for that and I'm managing pretty well. There needs to be some improvement on the teaching methods like, some teachers just don't reach they come in the class do one thing and rest is all upto us and they just vanish.
Fees and Financial Aid
Okay so we don't have to pay for each semester. We pay once for one year like if I get an admission in the college I pay 17000 for both the semesters in the first year and when I complete my first year then I have to pay the second year fees. There's no scholarship in my college or I'm not aware of it but if someone scores 9+ cgpa then the college gives them money, ranging from 1000-1500
Campus Life
Tide was an amazing annual festival that goes every year and damn the library is so great and therew not much technological provisions here in my college but there's some projectors and big computers in the seminar halls and other parts of the college,
Admission
I was in a different college in 2023 and goddamn that place was worse than where I am now, I would always choose any other college than that he'llish place. In 2024 i attempted Cuet again and I god good grades and got into DU, I scored pretty well around 680 +
Faculty
Faculty is ready to help the students too but the problem is that sometimes the faculty members are not in the college or they just take our problems for granted, however there indeed are some teachers who are always ready to help, exam structure is very strict and the internal marking is very critical I think there should be some leniency in that
Night Life
I have never been out of college till late night cuz i live here in my home with my family so I have to reach home early but from what I've heard from my friends they say that the nightlife is pretty good in satya niketan and always very awake there
