Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have BA Program economics + political science. Political as major and economic as minor. I want to study both that's why it's good Political science is a theory subject but economics help me in this course for me to get connected with real world and in placement and in jobs. Areas which have to be improved is SEC VAC Course and teachers have to use props and more digital oriented methods Mild difficulty for exams easy to do frequency is also good enough for preparation

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship experience Is very good. Placement cell organizes it's annual internship fair intern O feria whi offer almost every type of role in internship according to your skills. Stipend is also good median stipend is arround 14K

Placement Experience

3

You are eligible for placement after 2nd year or 4th semester. So many companies visited here including Deloitte, kpmg and many more I didn't know highest packege offered but median packege is 6 lakh And arround 1400 student admitted in each year and In 2023-24 session 600 got placement I want to do UPSC If there is no campus placement I have a good employability skills due to my course. As eco+ Pol is the best combination in BA and haveva very good scope in either corporate or institutions.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am in 1st Year Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma college has a good and affordable fees structure. I paid 17830 rs as yearly fees. Every type of fees is included in this only Their is same fees of all categories. But their is some fees reduction or no fees for orphans or BPL students Their is no admission fees and no caution money you have to pay the the yearly fees at time of seat allotment on CSAS Portal. You have to pay arround 1200-1300 rs each semester for exam fees. It's mandatory and no concession is on that. Their is a scholarship driver run by our college every year on merit cum need basis. I also got Scholarship in that of arround 3000 rs. And also a book aid fund facility for needy students.

Campus Life

5

Overall experience of college is very good, social environment is very good Library is the one of the best features of college it has 15 types of news paper daily and have arround 50000 books and have access to all monthly magazine, Not every class but 2out of 3 class have projectors Sports activities are very good 1cricket ground, 1 synthetic basketball court, two volleyball court, 1 football ground, 1 badminton court. Access to equipments is for everyone and also of good quality Lot of society and clubs are there have great impact on life. I am also in 2 societies.

Admission

This college has All india rank 5 this is the reason why I chose this college over others No I didn't got rejection from other colleges. It is in my home town and I want exposure. For admission you have to give CUET Exam. Eligibility is 12th pass. Course most preferred is BA Political science Hons. Cut off is very high for all relevant courses. Councelling of DU is done through CSAS Portal. It's open after the result of CUET and their is no hassle in admission process although you have to make all necessary documents ready.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is good faculty is also good and our college has one of the best faculty in DU. They are approachable but you have to inform them earlier Faculty like Shambhu nath Dubey, Bhavna Maithani, Anuradha Negi. Are who I like and the best is Shambhu sir his knowledge and teaching abilities are exceptional Rashmi Bahal, Prem Chand are the professors I didn't like as they as they didn't engage and understand student properly Their are two internal exam for each DSE and GE. and end sem exam. It's not that tough. Course curriculum is relevant but SEC and VAC are the course which is not taken seriously DU have to remove it or manage these courses properly

Interview Experience

5

No GD no interview Admission is done on the basis of CUET Score Councelling done on CSAS Portal of Delhi University. You have to prepare for CUET examination. Syllabus is given on NTA website. Eligibility is class 12th. No other task. After seat allotment on CSAS Portal accept seat and college will verify your documents then pay fees.

Night Life

3

Night life is good I go to Nescafe area it's the best in college and back road of college to unwind after day of classes. Campus timing are 7am to 6:30 pm Famous hangout spots near college are chanakyapuri, shantiparh, kartavya path. And ridge forest. College is not proper infact we can say that their is no gym in college. But their are so many gym arround college area

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
