Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate ba hons psychology as highly relevant and moderately comprehensive One of the reason i have opt this course for structured syllabus The curriculum effective in preparing students for further academic studies like masters M'phil or net exam as well as entry level roles in counselling Exams held twice per semester interval exams and final exams the difficulty is moderate papers are application based which encourages critical thinking and over rote learning.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

The fee structure Ba ( hons ) psychology is 27000 per year , 1500 as tution fees , 1000 as development fees The total 3 year course will be come as 81000 Students reserved for sc st and obc are eligible for government scholarships cover 50% and 100%

The overall experience with my college has been extremely enriching The college has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere The library is well stocked and digital access terminals The classrooms are equipped with basic technology aids like projectors audio system Sports facilities like basketball court badminton court The college encourages extracurricular activities through different clubs

Admission

I have applied in many colleges like Lsr , jmc and private colleges like amity But in lsr and jmc they have highly cut off which my percentage slightly lack behind And i chose delhi university over amity because du is more intellectually stimulating and affordable The admission process is completely merti based considering your 12th percentage after cbse board exams There was no entrance exams The admission process was smooth with online application portal

Faculty

The faculty of ratio in my college is quite balanced with around 1 faculty for 30-50 students in ba hons psychology They are open to doubts in every class hour Prof. Anuradha mam is my personal favourite in her clear and interactive teaching style. We have two main exams after every mid semester interval. The exams are moderately difficult in theoretical and practical based

Night Life

While the college itself closes at 5 pm with library and cafeteria By surrounding lifestyle makes easier and more enriching Popular hangout spots social nehru place , hauz khaz big chil cafe green park The locality around the college is generally safe Police intervally do patrolling

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

The vibe around the college is emmaculate, we are offered to engage in diversity and continously interact within and outside the college. The entrace procedure for DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI is through CUET entrance test- the score should vary between 450-600/700 for BA hons courses and 300-400 for BCS courses and 550-650+/700 for BCOM courses My reason for choosing this college was firstly it being a women's college and secondly the faculty members proved to be the best here...Read More

I had applied to DU , BHU and MADRAS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE out of which i got selected in Maitreyi DU AND MADRAS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE. I couldnt make it to BHU because of very high cutoffs for general category students.
