Course Curriculum Overview

5

the course is very interesting and develops ones knowlege perspective of seeing this world, it reflects in our thinking and overall makes us a good human. this couse is a very good option if are willing to opt for upse in future. The exam timing 9am to 12pm (3hrs).

Internships Opportunities

5

a lot of intership opportunties for students in the campus has been provided, usually u get to know about the opportunity in your whatsapp group with a link easly assible to all . interships in the field of ngo's , medicines, tech, and other compinies has been provided with better insights.

Placement Experience

3

fifth semester students are eligible for campus placements, and many from other colleges as well can take part in such offerings by just regestring yourself. compines that visited the college are ; lenskart, deloitte,de shaw india, fnp, mcdonalds etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The early fees (that I paid for my course BA honors ) = 16,450 rs. in which, tution fees = 180 rs. college welfare fund = 2,030rs. other miscellaneous charges = 14,240 rs. the registration fees for cuet 2024, for variours groups were (for upto 3 subjects )- general = 1000rs obc- ncl/ews = 900rs sc/st/pwbd/third gender = 800rs. for candidates outside india, the fees is 4500rs. for upto 3 subjects and 1800 for each additional subject. perks of the college : The faculty is excellent in this college. The classes never usually gets cancelled unlike most of the colleges. Every season their is a new opportunties fairs or extra circulum activities going on. Each month is like a festival in knc. The environment outside is college is also very cozy ,calm and safe for every student unlike noth campus , security is good and helping, metro facility is nearby in around 2kms range, on campus drives is suppoted here, intership opportunities is also given to students every month. If someone is willing to persue something other than graduation , and needs time and energy to explore other ways, then this college is definitely for you. It will provide you with peaceful learning environment with no chaos and a good circle or a helpful environment + faculty. There is also not much chaos for maintaing the attendence if you are good student and knowns how to show up the faculty will surely help you with this. usually there is a bond which we get when our attendence is bellow 60%, and then u will be asked fr reason of being absent with proffs and then you will shorted. you just need to maintain a good cgpa to show up ! cons : you might not get an environment to explore much as this is a girls college, and also you are going to miss the fun that a co-ed college provides.

Campus Life

4

ullas is the fest of our college which is celebrated every year which takes a lot of attention and puts the joy mode on in the campus during its preparation, several other activites and competions also takes place. overall the infrastructure including benches, table, chairs etc are in well condition and maintained very time, the faculty is helpfull and approachable, the library is also good with a lot of books and space the only drawback is that some of the fans in the college does not work good and during summers it feels extremely hot. other activities in sports, like basketball court is available in the college, and faculty is there for teaching you, also gym facility is provided (9-11am ).

Admission

I choosed this college since i had to prepare for other competative exams as well and this college provides me with enough opportunity and time, sometimes time bond to us but we can manage if we are serious of something we wanna do. I only applied for du colleges as it is the best globally regonised university + the faculty and alumini network is worth it . it gives a lot of exploser and a good environment for growth. we dont get facilites like other pvt colleges but its also worth it in overall ways . The admission process of du college is very easy and efficient, everything happens in online mode and its very convinent as well.

Faculty

4

faculty to student ratio is appox - 45:1, the faculty of the college is very approachable in the campus and when its nessesary they also proive their contact info. ( probably whatsapp, gmail) so that you can ask any doubt when they are not availabe, they are very helpful, rather few exceptions also exist. some faculty might not be that helpful or easy to approach for you. In my department faculty like dr.Gaggan jot maam , dr. Geetesh maam , and saba maam are very helpful and approachble . I Personally like to read with them. they are very interesting personalities which makes my subject more interesting to read. I personally did'nt like only one teacher, will not be reveiling her name, she teaches logic, and she is quite arrogant and very difficult to approach, you need to be in her good books to score in her subject as she might easly fail you .she usually targets students who are not regular in her class and also might not give you attenence if you are 10mins late also, she is a very strict teacher and all of us has to be according to her in the class premise. the total of 6 semesters are there (3years) , each year 2 papers has to be given. philosophy is a suject of logic , reasoning, and critical thinking and you might feel hanging in the inital semester since it requires a present mind and a lot of practice to score good initally. we really need to improve out writing skills, speed and patters as you will have to write minimunm 6 slides for each question which is of 18 marks.

Night Life

4

hostel is not there in our campus. gym room, daning room, music room, activity room and labs are there in our college, also we have a chaupal for stundents gatherings, and an auditorium with potential of about 200 students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
