- GEHU is among the best private universities as it is specifically for the students of Uttarakhand as they get huge scholarships here.
- College canteen at the basement is fully air-conditioned and is also better than a lot of cafes of Dehradun.
- Our auditorium maybe small but very effective as it has the best lights and sound system.
Dislikes
- Campus is quite small as one let of yours will step out as soon as you go out of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course for Civil Engineering includes a lot of practicals. Also, only 30 seats for Civil Engineering here so students are quite less and therefore we get opportunity to study hard and be the best engineers as our course is capable of that.
Placement Experience
Oracle, Infosys, Magics and many more like in all Including GEU & GEHU around 150 companies came. Not all the technology but even finance and construction companies as for Civil not many choices are there but luckily our core jobs were provided and I am happy it happened.
Fees and Financial Aid
GEHU Dehradun is a private university and therefore expensive than many. Still a shade below 3 lakh isn't that much because university is extremely good. The University's girls hostel Marina Hostel which is, is also top class and it costs 1.8 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
GEU is nearby and we have access to that college campus as most of our college events are held there since our campus is quite small. Sad though that we don't have enough space but academics wise we are extremely well equipped. Our fest is common as both the universities enjoy Grafest together.
Hostel Facilities
Marina Hostle is among the largest girls hostels taking in account any college or university. 9 floor building has lifts and two mess as well. It's huge and food tol is great. Rooms are also airconditioner and double to triple occupancy rooms are available at our hostel.
Admission
I applied for GEU and COER and luckily I was getting admission in both the colleges. Sadly though I was getting admission but one thing which I didn't got was the fees in my favour and therefore I chose GEHU as it is specifically for students of Uttarakhand.
Faculty
Dynamic and absolutely hard working faculties are a part of our college. It's illustrious list of people who have passed from IIT Roorkee to IIT Delhi as most faculties what I have seen is are from North India only.
Night Life
Well gym and all is there at GEU and still for those who want Clement Town has various gyms too. We also have various food outlet and from Pasta to Pizza to Momos almost all junk food is easily available close to our college campus.
