Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course covers the core engineering subjects well, building a good foundation.the curriculum gives the trong base in core engineering . most teaching is theory based, and there less focus in hands on industry tools or real time projects. exams are scheduled regularly with internals, externals, unit tests and end sem papers. The difficulty level is moderate , and passing is possible with decent preparation. however, some subjects feels outdated and not useful for actual job scenarios . They included sylaabus domains like AI, IOT Cloud computing, and many more so its really feels helpful

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a btech student at GHRCEM pune.for the academic year 2025-26 the total fees is Rs 1,43,839. This includes components like tuition fee, development fee (rs 17,087),skilll and employability fee(rs 2000), examination fee(rs 8500), university and exam related chargrs, professional body membership(rs 1000), and other institutional charges. I belong to the open category, but I am eligible for the girlsfree eduction scheme by the government of maharashtra. under the scheme ,the tuition fee is fully waived. so I had to pay only Rs 29,926 to the college. This scheme covers the tuition and other fees, making technical education affordablr for eligible girls. The fee structure remains mostly consistent every year, with only minor increases. Those students who have not under the any scheme or scholorship or from management they have to pay full fees.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is decent . Our college hosts the annual event "ANTRAGINI", around the march - april. The library is good with enough technical , knowledgable books and every day news papers. and many more journel access . Some classrooms have digital boards and remainig have projectors. There are sports facilities like basketball court, volleyball, and indoor games, swimming pool but we wish for the larger play ground, which will help in personality development. the participation is based on the students interest. Many events are related to academic focused, so there scope to add more fun and industry related activities. and canteen also very hygienic. Overall the campus life is more academic than vibrant, but with good peer interaction and suppport

Admission

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option. The admission cell team is well and document verification is easy and clear.

Faculty

5

The faculty- student ratio is decent, and most teachers are approachable and helpful. Many faculties try to support students beyonds lectures, especially during the project works time. I personally like the few faculties from my entc department. however some teachers only focus on reading slideswithout more explanation.which makes it hard for students who are very new to the subject. The course structure is set by college because its autonaumous college but it under the (SPPU) university. Exams had thrice a semester, 2 unit test and 1 end semester. marking scheme is moderate and sometimes means for end sem its very strict. however the failure rate is slightly higher in technical subjects like math or relate to electronics.

Night Life

5

The college closes at 5 PM, so there isno late night campus activity. I stay in the college girls hostel, where the last entry is 8 PM but at sunday the entry closing time is 9 PM. Since there is no campus nightlife, hostel students are mostly socialized indoors, The area is fairely safe, with regular patrolling, aand no late night gym or librariesare avilable. But the gym and study rooms are avilable at hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
