GURUKUL - OUR PRIDE

Most of the big thing which makes me choose this college is that it is a GFTIs college. Their curriculum prepares us very well because they help in every period of time to tackle real world applications problems and they help us further in any of our projects related to robotics and Ai related programs. Improvement is needed in the infrastructure not in the course curriculum because course curriculum is too good but building i don't like from the beginning only. timings of the college starts from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and for some students of other section it changes from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Classes duration is of 1 hour only.

Total fees taken by our college is 5 lakhs in a four year. tution fees for 1st semester - 67250 2nd semester- 58250 registration fees - 1000 admission fees - 1st semester full payement lab fees - 42000 hostel fees - 60250 for SC/STs - 55250 (5000 waiver ) all students from all category have same tution fees. scholarship are given by the state only. College do not provides scholarship to any student. They are too possessive regarding money they will take your money very easily but they don't want to give any money to the students on any basis.

Annual fests haapens in the month of december i.e. JANAGANI FEST once in a year. In this fests technical and non- technical experiments were shown by the students ans teacher used to give marks according to their hard work and in the last they give prize to the winners. Games are also oraganise on this day. We have a library on our third floor not so big but have everything accessible related to our course curriculum. All classrooms are having access to the samrt board and a 200 seater space with benches and a speaker in the corner with mic facilities and a projectors. Sports activities like Football, table-tennis, carrom, chess, cricket, basket-ball, volley-ball all are played here by the students in their free time. I love to play chess. There is some social and technical groups run by the students like GDSC, MICROSOFT, E-CELL, PLACEMENT-CELL BY COLLEGE etc.

Rooms are good as they provide bedsheet, Almirah, fan, table, chair, wifi, water R.O etc. Meal quality of our hostel is good just for two to three months after that they just give very bad quality and unhygenic food so we leave our hostel after 1st year. registraion process is too easy jsut fill the form and pay the one year fees. locality nearby places is like Aashirwad hostel best hostel under 2000 rupees.

I have never qualified any exams but i just cleared this exam form jee mains and get a chance to get admission in this college. In the CSAB round of counselling i got this college . SO i choose this college. Yes, i get rejection from other colleges because of my low percentile. Admission process is very easy. Cutoff for this college is not so much. I f you got very less percentile then also you can get this college in CSAB round but you have to give jee mains to get admission in this college.

Faculty always support their wards. Whenever we need any help we just go and take help or we can email to the help@gkv.ac.in and they instantly help in solving our problem. I liked my communication skill professor Mr. Prashant Kaushik because he helped me alot in improving my English speaking and Public speaking abilities. He used to held a program and a debate in which he used to call me first to improve my hesitation and thus i improved. He makes us interview ready. He also asks for a short video of self introduction. I don't like one of our faculty member who teach us BEE- Basic Electronic Engineering because he doesn't know how to teach. He just copy his notes and paste it in the lecture. He used to teach us by looking into his notes which is very awkward for us but he doesn't feel any awkwardness. There are two three exams happens in a year. 1st sessional, 2nd sessional and the last semester exam.Also we give internal and external practicals Exam. All students are easily cleared the exam no one get failed. Course curriculum is very relevant.

Open Gym is there, Cafetrias timing starts from 5:00 AM TO 8:00 PM in our college. Library timings are different for different sections of students but its starting time is 10:00 AM and closing time is 5:00 PM. Hostel timing is from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM after that entry is not allowed. Campus timing is from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Hangout places inside our college is library and the sports room in which we used to play table tennis, chess and carrom. Outside the college our hangout place is the ghats of haridwar. Nighout places is there in our hostel only i.e our hostel main building.
