Curriculum influenced us with all the amenities and necessary real - world application based problems . Also this is the only GFTIs college in Uttarakhand that's why i chose this course . Curriculum prepares us very well and case based problems are basically solved by us for the placement purpose. Improvement should be there in the practicals exam and viva . Timings of the exam are of 3 hrs. exams are taken striclty , tecahers doen't give time for cheating . Difficulty level is moderate .

Total fees taken by the college in four years of B.TECH program is 800000 including hostels fees and tution fees . tution fees excluding college is 500000 . library fees - 42000 per year fees - 1st - 127000 / 2nd - 124000 / 3rd - 124000 / 4th - 124000. Fees are same for all. Scholarship or loan is given by the states of student only . College do not provide any kind of scholarship.

The annual fests name here is JANAGANI , one of the biggest fest of any GFTIs college in Haridwar because it is the only GFTIs college in Haridwar and oldest also . Books and journals are easily accessible to all the students by using their library card . Classrooms are having technologically developed with digital board , and projectors . Sports curriculum are also here with all the amenities required for gaming purpose . Also there is a sports room in our college and a big satdium . Students run clubs are GDSC, MICROSOFT, E-CELL, UDHAYAM, PLACEMENT CELL etc.

Rooms are of good facilities as they are givig all the basic facilities like bed, chair , table , matresses , personal almirah , R.O purifier , Wi-fi facilities etc. Food quality is very bad not so good for health in the hostel try to take hostel nearby the college in bhadrabad otherwise you can take PG near sitapur , Jwalapur etc. Registration for hostel is easy just you have to pay full fees of one year and fill the form given by them . You can consider sharma PG and nearby places for accomodation.

I have applied for NITs and IITs but because of my low percentile in jee mains i got this college so i chose this course and confirmed my admission from csab round . Yes , i get rejection from NITs and IITs but my college is GFTIs college and there is no girls in this college so i chose this college as my first preferances . Admission is confirmed by jee mains score and csab round of counselling . Direct admission is also taken by the college just you have to fill the form given in the admission tab of the official website of gkv.ac.in and then you will just get your admission in this college easily during the time of admission.

Faculty to student ratio is good as faculty's support their ward in every situation and circumstances . After class we can clear all our doubts from the teachers . Teachers are approachable and accountable for every mistake. Ashwani sir , i like most as he helps me in maintaining my attendance in the college . Amresh sir , he is the hitler teacher of our college , in viva he asked very tough question and failed us , so i don't like him . Exams are taken twice in a year with two semester before that two sessional are take place i which we can give only one . Difficulty level is moderate and students often clear the exam efficiently .

Open gym is there near to our hostel in university and a big stadium DAYANAND STADIUM is also there. These are open all the time . Cafeterias timing are from morning to late evening around 6 or 8 PM . Library timings are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM same for college timing . hostel gets closed by 10:00 PM so you have to reach anyhow before 10:00 PM. Hangout placesare like Cafeterias and parks in the university and campus .
