Explore NIT Agartala with Me

Just don't go with the name of NIT , always choose a college if you are getting your choosen branch . And Curriculum needs some changes as it lack in industry level knowledge which you needed most for the placements

From 7th sem ,we are eligible for campus placements Around 200+ companies visited for 2025 batch and around 1100+ (ongoing) offers have been received Highest Package is around 50LPA from Amazon for SDE role and Average is around 9LPA. Around 80% of students getting placed every year. My plans are to gains some work experience and then pursue MBA

Year wise depends upon the family income category of students like there are the 3 slabs : 1. Under 1LPA: Tuition fees is around 6-9K depending on even or odd semester. 2. Between 1-5LPA: tuition fees is around 30-32K and lastly, 3. Above 5LPA : Tuition fees is around 70K. This is final tuition fees and if opted for hostel then it varies upon the Mess contractor but it lies between 20-25K . While choosing the hostel first time there isa 5000 caution fees which is refunded after completion of the course. There are some scholarship provided by the central or state goverment for SC/ST students of upto 1lakh while they apply thrrough the scholarship section.

All major festivals are are celebrated by the students as they are the ones who oraganise the events like GAnesh Puja, Durga Puja and all. All books related to curriculum are available in the library Basic bench and blackboard are in the class room There are different grounds and courts for the sports like football,cricket,Badminton and all. Also NIT Agartala participate in Inter NIT competition which is good opportunity for meeting with different students of different college

For first and year ,you get double sharing room with bed,fan , table,chair and cupboard that's it . No other electric appliances are allowed Mess is of two types one for pure veg and other is both and also there is South mess also and meal quality is good

I wanted to join IIT but can't clear the JEE Advanced but I have cleared the JEE Mains exam and enrolled for JOSAA and CSAB counseling for college allotment and from there i got NIT Agartala. I made the mistake in ranking the department in preference order and due to this i landed on Biotechnology branch Admission process was very smooth as it was in online mode due to covid at that time but now students have to visit to Branches you got for all documents

Faculty are very helpful and approachable and they help with any problem . Anyone can ask doubts anytime and if someone wants some opportunities like internship ,they help also in get that also through their connections. Male faculties are very chill and some female faculties but all will becomes like friends in the 6th sem ending . There are two exa,s like mid sem and end sem and they ask from the depth but you can pass with decent CGPA but very need to have a skill of paper filling also. Students are rarely fail only in case of if Answer Paper is blank.

Night light is not that good like other as it is in North east and due to its past history there are restriction of in timies like 8 PM for Girls and 11PM for boys . Gym are well equipped and Shopping complex is the place for chilling out
